In arma you have 3 different sound effects from gunfire: 1. Bullet impacts 2. Supersonic cracks from bullets breaking the sound barrier 3. Mussle sound from weapons. Once you learn which is what and how they work you should be able to distinguish exactly where shots are comming from. Unless you're dead already of course.

It's quite funny seeing you guys get at eachothers throats from watching a single outtake on youtube from a sutiation you probably know nothing about. I can tell you that this video clip doesn't show the entire scenario, or what's been going on prior to it. Nor does it show how these bikers have been using the same roadstrip, over and over again outside this familys house to race their bikes well above and beyond the speed limit. If I remember correct, the fed up resindent in the truck had had enough and went after the bikers, who was really happy to turn around and confront the unarmed man with violence, once they all was out of their vehicles. Just the fact that they resort to this kind of cheap-shot violence, pretty much gives you an idea of what kind of people we're looking at.

What is it you don't understand? If some other pressing matter arise while a cop is processing someone, in cuffs or without cuffs, they may have to take care of that situation first. It's a matter of priorities. If they're doing a routine stop because someone was speeding they'll have to put that aside if someone is getting shot at and there isn't enough personell to deal with it. I think it's called resource allocation.

So we're basicly better off fishing, or mining considering the time invested. That's really sad. Since the dynamic market was supposed to create incentive for players to spread out on the money making activities.

If you're unable to use your Voice, the proper way to initiate RP with hostile intent would be by sending the recieving party a text message with your intentions via the ingame phone. Default key for this function is number 5. For example: "Hands up or my good friend Herbil the Gerbil here will shoot you in the foot with his potato launcher." This message will show up on the recipient's screen togethet with a sound notification and remain there for a few seconds. Direct chat can very easily be flooded and cluttered by other server messages like kill-, disconnect and connect messages and go unnoticed. You may ofcourse use that for friendly cassual conversations if you want.

If understand this right, this might also explain why we keep spawning in below the floor in some houses, underneath towers and inside of solid object at the oil rig when logging in where you last synced. I've never had that happen on other servers. When I've logged out at the upper floor in a house, I've logged in at the upper floor. Not the bottom floor or underneath the house like on Asylum.

I usually don't like Bounty Hunters because they give me aids, but you guys actually seem to be alright. And ACO with the auto ranging is herpes. RCO + TRG = Win

I'm not sure about that. I've been doing a lot of different things. What I did notice though is that some commodities seem to reset, or at least lower in market stock, while others just keep going up.

I don't see the point of this "dynamic" market. I've been told it was set in place to get people to chose different professions to make money. To spread out the player base. But seriously, who will be spreading out doing different things than others when the market takes a dump on their chosen profession? Everybody will just go for whatever market commodity that hasn't crashed it's price yet and hammer the shit out of it until it crashes too. Just doesn't seem to be working as intended.

Be friendly, stay classy, stay vigilant but do keep a grudge. With friendliness you can come a long way and make a lot of friends that will help you when in need. But when that fails, you just gotta make sure you come out on top. Last person who tried a dick move by shooting me while I was unarmed lost his HEMMT Box full of cocaine one hour later. I also chopped the HEMMT just i spite. Last person who killed me for no good reason got all of his posse continously pistol banged until neither of them had any gear left. The salt in side chat was top notch. Last person to grief me got griefed back to the point that he changed server or quit playing completely. Haven't seen him since. It's all about the public relations you know. Be nice to nice people and if they're assholes just be a dick and fuck them continously until they cry in side chat.
