tbh, ive played on altis life servers in the uk with better ping but way more desync, these servers are pretty stable for me, tho i did lose a chopper last night through "no message recieved" but on the whole they are pretty good

I've actually already done 2 hobo bank jobs, they here good fun and although they obviously were not sucessful i feel they gave the hobos a feel for the event and encourage them to partake in the future

you are right, i will take a group of hobos to the bank and show them the procedures required to rob it. Obviously a group of hobos will be no match for the mighty officers of the APD, so you should treat it as a "training exercise". I would be career suicide for my own campaign for re-election as Govenor if i was to say "im gonna take a load of hobos to rob the Bank!".

During my time as Governor on server #4 It has come to my attention that one of the contributing factors to the rising number of vagrants and hobos to our beautiful island is a lack of any kind of employment training schemes. As part of my campaign to be re-elected as governor i want to implement a new scheme that will take hobos off the streets and give them the essential skills to be able to sustain themselves and become a contributing member of society. These programs will include: Weapons manufacturing Mineral Processing Oil and rubber production Bank of Altis "police training" exercise Community watch "bounty hunting" training. Citizens of Altis, I have decided, after a successful campaign and term as Governor I have decided to run again for the distinguished office of Governor. Durin my time in office I came to many revelations. I have made a number of changes on my policies that will reflect what people really want but also, what is right for the island as a whole. 1# Taxes will be lowered for everything except purchases. My reasoning for this is a s follows. Property tax, gang and fuel tax is to be reduced to 0%. This is to encourage people who are donors that buy property, manage gangs and own and fly helecopters. The purchases tax will be maintained at 20%. This is to increase the sale pric of crafted items like wepons, vehicles and processed drugs. This will give you MORE MONEY!. it will also make guns more expensive to keep the pistol banging noobs that dont initiate unarmed and force them to go out and make a living instead of petty crime. 2# Bring back the Night! I will campaign to bring back the night to Asylum. I will make a multi pronged campaign in server 4, the forums and in ts to bring back the night. I will first pertition to have the night brought back on sever 4 first and if successful I will push to have the night re implemented across all asylum servers. 3# I will keep weed legal to promote the use of drugs running for lower tier players which will increase the money at the drug cartel to encourage players to fight for it that normally wouldn't attempt it. This can help introduce players to the higher end of the game and make cartels viable for smaller gangs to take and hold them. 4# Give a man a fish work program. I will take it upon myself to organise an array of work opportunities for the hobos and new players, like bank jobs, weapon production, meth runs, oil refinery and rubber production. I have had a number of successes so far and would like to implement an island wide scheme of this program if I am re-elected, #4 Martial law. I will keep the martial law policy. Train every day to achieve something, be better than you were yesterday, and when you come home and play arma u won't feel guilty about it. Ive played on this server for over a year if you must know, i was active on the old forums and im voicing a genuine concern that the degeneration of forum content is perpetuated by an attitude where people brag that "they didn't read it" because the effort of reading is too much, apposed to where the copy and pasting of html links and memes trumps a considered and cogent argument. I suppose i should consider the fact that you think i write in an intellectual manner as a compliment, but i get the feeling it was meant to be a disparaging statement, which does more to embarrass you than it does me. Spending two years bangin dat pistol in Kavala isn't anything to brag about. I do see myself as better than those who spent their time cold clocking people in the back with a rook in Kavala, I have been an active member and leader of multiple Gangs, taken part in all the end game content on a regular basis, maxed out all my property and assisted many players in the ways of the Altis life. The danger of trying to generalize about a whole community of players is that you boarder on being a bigoted racist. I have played with people from all over the world while playing Asylum and i can honestly say from my experience that there are just as many RDM/VDM'ers that are English speaking as are from any other nation. I've been rdm'ed by both old and new players, players in established "big" gangs and bounty hunters that are even complaining about Chinese rdm'ers in this very thread. If you have a genuine RDM complaint STFU and just report it. This is the fastest way to get people to augment their behavior or remove them from the server. This is a pointless thread that achieves nothing other than stir up animosity for Chinese players. Perhaps because this server is located in the US players arn't used to playing with people from other cultures, but being in the EU ive gotten used to playing with people from all sorts of nationalities and cultures. The kind of xenophobic rhetoric im seeing on this thread has no place on a RP server that exists on the internet.
