The cops dont pay much for their gear. The only cops that actually pay a good amount for their stuff is the LT's since they have the MK-1. But if people think 4-5k for mx/mxm's is expensive I dont know bro

If I remember correctly one mk-18 loadout on server one ( with arms and two turfs, and guns in stock) was around 13k. The mk-18 was literally 4k.
