Yeah, it would take 38 revives, but that's the point. It doesn't need to be easy to get. New players don't get to run one offroad of apples and get a HEMTT, why should medics be handed everything? I've played almost exclusively medic, I enjoy the RP. If you couldn't afford the 30k heli in a couple of days, that's on you as a medic. Fix the bug that lets people fly it and it become pointless to kill for it again. I've never been shot out of my helicopter, I don't know how this is miraculously going to make it worse. The system right now punishes you for using your helicopter, because you have to revive three people to recoup the cost. You could fly around the map for two hours and not get two, because people waste your time, ala suggestion 1.

I don't think non-EMT's can fly the helis, or so I've been told, so they can't chop it. And if they shoot you out of it, it's almost certainly RDM and they'll be banned, then you can be comped.

I know I've beaten this to death, but I'm going to throw it out here again. I know we aren't getting whitelist, and I understand that. But here are two of what I think are simple suggestions that would make EMT 1000% more rewarding to play. 1. Make "Request Medic" force someone to wait 3-4 minutes before they respawn. Implement "Are you sure you wish to request medic? You will be unable to respawn for x minutes." confirmation so people don't hit it on accident, if possible. Force people who just want their rebel friends to revive them to use "allow revive" as was intended and stop wasting EMT's time. Maybe emphasize "allow revive" over request medic, so we can cut down on these calls. 99% of players do not wait for a medic if they are further than 300m out. Rendering helicopters useless, which brings me to; 2. Helicopters. I cannot stress this enough. A ton of trolling is done with these cheap, cheap helicopters. Drastically raise the price of the helicopters and massively cut back on the garage fee. This will punish the EMTs who use them as rockets, and reward medics who are careful with their gear. 30,000 to buy, 150-250 to pull out. The current fee of $2,500 is virtually NEVER recouped for medics.

It's the same bug EMT's experience. Wiped my EMT talents a short while back. Basically if you get that black screen that wont go away, you're doomed. I don't know if killing the game through Task Manager would help, as it's something I'd rather not try out. I got comped for cash and started from scratch on the medic talents.

With the new update, a lot of people are playing bounty hunter. It's going to be like this until the shine wears off. Either keep your bounty low and avoid the city or get to cops/courthouse quick and take care of your bounty.

Hm, this is about the way my Arma has always looked. As far as your stuttering, I had the same problem with my GTX 970. I had to uninstall the drivers and revert to an older set. It was making everything terrible.

GTX graphics card by chance? Edit: Maybe I'm missing something; What's wrong with the textures in those screens?

I will admit there is a lot of fun to be had on medic if you're not a troll dickhead. But sadly, most of it has to be in Kavala. If you spawn in Pyrgos you could spend two hours online with nobody waiting long enough to be revived. Kavala doesn't have that problem. And I stand by what I said about Helicopters; make them cost $30,000-$50,000 and $150 to pull out of the garage, instead of $5,000 and $2,500. It would help a little in pulling back on the EMTs searching for lulz in a helicopter, and save EMTs money in the long run.

If it has to be taken from the players it will probably never happen. It would be nice if there was a supplement though. Or a fee for handing out pain killers and splints. I still think just forcing people to stay where they are if they call for a medic and their call is answered would be the single greatest thing that could happen for medics.

I know this is unrelated, but do you know if it's possible to make it so medics can pull someone out of a destroyed vehicle? People can call for medics, but we're unable to actually pull them out if their car is 100% totaled.

Maybe it was updated, but a couple of weeks ago I watched an EMT give/sell one and the civs flew off into the sunset with it.
