Potential Changes that would increase server count.

Good afternoon Mitch, Boonie and all asylum citizens. Recently there has been a drop in server population but I believe a few ideas that should help boost player base. 

 

A. Set weekly admin event times:

People love action, having a admin event every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm or something to that effect would have people logging on prior to the max pop time of 9pm and keep them on the server afterwards due to there being large amounts of people coming in for the event. 

B. Put Kavala on top of respawn list:

What is happening with these brand new players is that they are spawning in Sofia, seeing no one there then leaving the server. This is extremely detrimental as new players are the ones consistently on the server once they get hooked to what asylum has to offer. Kavala has always been the place where people hang out and talk and is the most recognizable to the average new player. 

 

(A and B are likely the most effective but ill add in a C just as a hot take) 

 

C. Either put a longer cooldown on federal events or make cops not have to go to them every time:

Yes I know this one will piss off the rebels and cartel fighters but the problem here is that the cities are not watched enough to where order can be restored. There is no downside to having an illegal weapon most of the time and fights in cities can be dry with no cop pushback. This would also keep cops on the force longer due to not having the repetitive grind aspect be mandatory. 

 

I might come back and do a longer write up of this, but I really feel like these changes will help boost the player base immediately and create longevity for a server we all love.

This is why I like playing cop late at night to try to actually have the chance to interact with people and find random rp events instead of, bank, bank, bank, fed. It rushes the interactions I get to have and is unfair to most people when I have to try to process quickly. A and C I def support.

A.) We have timed events already (Gang fort/domination). Every restart we have a random event that takes place. We also have sporadic Admin spawned events.

Having a battle royale at 7pm on a thursday for a prize of 100k isnt going to get ppl to log in.
B.) We did Kavala for years. We have data on what happens to players who spawn in kavala and start there. The odds of them moving out of kavala are pretty weak.
We now have data on Athira and we are collecting data on Sofia. we will make the best decision possible when it comes to the city that shows up on top as we want new players to stay and participate in everything asylum has to offer (And not just pistol banging in kavala) 
C.) Constantly suggested. Just as Lowering the cooldown is constantly suggested. Its going to stay where it is for now
