Medic rdm?

So I've been playing a lot of medic recently and I've noticed that I get shot a lot while reviving people without being engaged in anyway. Does that count as rdm or is me healing someone enough initiation to shoot at me?

Yes, that would be considered RDM if they do not initiate on you, unless you're in a red zone.  

 

Reviving someone is not initiation on it's own.

Though, if you run into a massive active firefight, the admins probably won't be too sympathetic. I've noticed a ton of medics just sprinting into the middle of fights and being shocked when they get shot.

I'm feeling the same way, I just started lately and I've been trying to get to people that are like 13,000 + away and I fly there with the helicopter just to instantly get shot down... I don't even know why I bother, sure It's a red zone but why request emt if you're just going to shoot them

when i started out i played a month or 2 as a medic, going to cartel fights to heal whomever one of the things about being a medic is you will get shot alot, at least nowadays you don't get kidnapped and shot for your uniform as much anymore, but yeah if you see a dead body and somebody with a gun closeby ask them if you can revive them before doing so if you don't want to die
