Help as a Paramedic

I decided to try my hand at being a paramedic but I am very confused. I got a truck and decided to go out an help. An emergency call came in so I hit 8 to accept it. I then opened my map up to find the very bizarre thing that I cannot see myself on the map. Nor can I see the person I am supposed to help. There is also nothing on my HUD. How am I supposed to help them if I don't know where they are. Guess?

Have you tried restarting your game? I don't play much play much paramedic, but you should be able to see the person that is asking for help.

When people request a medic, they'll appear as a red combat life saver icon on the map. Go to them, scroll wheel and use defib to get them up.

People CAN respawn after requesting, so do double check that you're not going to someone who's already respawned.

You'll be green on the map as a paramedic, if I can remember correctly.

Check you inventory by pushing I, and looking to see if you have a GPS. You should be able to see the player who is asking for a paramedic regardless.
