Best CPU's for ARMA 3 Multiplayer?

So I am ordering a new pc within the next few months and my main concern is multi-player FPS in Arma 3. If people who get a consistent 60FPS and above please post what CPU they use it would be greatly appreciative. This should also help other people looking to get the same results. Again I am not looking for single-player FPS I am looking for high FPS in large multi-player servers like Asylum.

Any 6 core i7 processor will run Arma like a champ

Unfortunately it's not as simple as "higher numbers = better". Arma 3 uses old architecture and won't utilize more than 4 cores. Even though having 16 cores running at 1 GHz sounds appetizing, a 4 core running at 2 GHz will run significantly faster in Arma.

If you're purchasing a CPU specifically for Arma, even though other games won't perform as well, purchase something with fewer but more powerful cores.

It's hard to recommend a specific CPU that fits your needs. You plan on playing other games? Plan on overclocking? If so, how involved do you plan on getting.

No overclocking with stock fans, some overclocking with upgraded air, water cooling, liquid nitrogen cooling?

Both are great choices. You want to buy anything with K in the title because they're unlocked and allow for OC like what I do here:

i5-4690k and then OC. Anything else isn't needed/overkill for ArmA MP. There is an HT command that you can use if you have an i7 but you will barely see any difference in MP.

I have an i7 4790k oc to 4.5ghz w/ h100i liquid cooling and that shit runs arma 60-80 FPS w/ a 750 gtx ti
