GraduateArc8298
If wire transfers were allowed to be done from a mobile device it would make services such as taxis and negotiating much easier. You would still need to deposit your hard cash into an ATM, but transferring funds via cell phone seems more practical than going to a gas station or town to pay for your vehicle/buddy's release. EDIT: a 5% transfer tax would be reasonable, not too noticeable with small transfers. But it would still give people a use for the ATM transfer if they are negotiating with large sums. Speaking of which.... our current "taxRate" script doesn't do anything dynamic..... I'll look into that. Yeah, I was talking more of paying someone for giving you a ride, taxis don't really have an incentive to operate when there is no guarantee the person will actually pay them. GraduateArc8298
For instance, after a server resets is a good time for taxi drivers to rack up some brownie points with locals and groups if they end up stranded. But if the group just overpowers the guy there would be no point in even attempting to help them out without some sort of incentive to risk losing their vehicle. Link to comment
