Vehicle Despawn/Respawn Time while gathering?

Hey guys,

I've been out gathering items or fishing turtles, and have had my vehicle reset itself back to its garage too many times. This is extremely frustrating because I have lost many full inventories of items, which has cost me quite a fair bit of cash.

Does anyone know if there is a time limit that the vehicles are on before they reset? What is that time, if so?

I usually just use the trunk option but have recently found out that its smarter to actually get in the vehicle/boat each time, and move it around a bit.. This is what I will be doing from now on, but it would still be nice to know if anyone actually knows the reset time, or whatever the mode is for them resetting vehicles.

think it's 10 minutes before it despawns just using the trunk should refresh it works for me.

Seems like its a lot quicker lately. I took a break to a server where vehicles never despawn so maybe its just me, but seems quicker then 10min.

Just under 10 minutes, if you start a bank as soon as you get out of the Orca, you can look out the back window ~8 mins in and it will be gone.
