@Gen. Henry Arnold So a few weeks ago like clock work. I have some fighter jets fly around my house. I live in BFE and every month they play around the the field behind my house. On this day i decided to do this... "There's nothing like waving an American flag outside your house while the Air force fighter jets do exercises around the field. I know they saw me.... one jet let a flare go as he was just over the house. I'm the most protected house in Minnesota. China has no chance on this home." They always fly east just after they go over the top of my house. They're not far above the tree tops and have broken many cabin's windows in the area. So i ran into the garage and grabbed the flag. As they were flying back east i stood in the middle of the field and waved old glory as fast as I could. Usually they break straight west in a incredible speed. But when he got within a mile, he started to bank south and was just over the top of me when he let the flare go. 10/10 the most amazing sight I've ever seen.

I'll compare these to what I'm running and make the needed changes. Hopefully it will help, driving into towns has been a killer, literally.

I gave that a try but i if i go into the middle of no where, i can pull my scope up on a empty car and it lags by like 1 second.

with the in game settings it was athe 6p frames but just the lag is killer

so basically disable and don't "zoom" on the scope during a fight?

I am using obs to record. my next investment will be with a ssd as many have suggested. and it seems that I get about 60 to 70 frames. but going into a city is a death with for me. if I'm driving I have to crawl into town otherwise I drop most of my frames and have a bit of an issue.

I did end up turning them down. the post provided were the pictures I used for setting them in the first place.

I'm right there with ya guys. I've applied a lot of the inputs from above. I overclocked from 3.9 to 4.2. I'm going to mess with the sound input and fire it up and see what happens.

Last time i messed with it my temps went a bit wonky. I didn't have the balls to keep it on. I really need to get a second monitor so i can watch temps while in game

I'll give that a watch. I;m kind of unfamiliar with the whole overclocking deal. But is there a range that is less dangerous to overclock it to without liquid cooling, or am i going into some dangerous territory without it?

I guess im not totally dependent on it. But when streaming and recording game play. I'd like there to be some value to it. I will have to mess around with that one and see what i can do.

Perfect. The nvida settings was on optimized. Hopefully that does something. I'm scared shitless to overclock my rig. I don't have any liquid cooling and im afraid to fry it. Any videos you'd suggest?

@xclusive n ArmA 3 .cfg in your documents folder find GPU_MaxFramesAhead and change it to 1. Do it also to GPU_DetectedFramesAhead. I change the GPU from 1000 to 1?

So you still maintain a good sound quality to play with correct?

What program do you personally use to open the CFG file?
