EDIT: So basically i think he can only use ArmA to barley touch on some of the ideas he wants to use it Idenity. I have the 150k house as well, and used to own the 70k. Never had much fun with the 70k (anyone remember ginger? he'd have a different story with the 70k) If you hang out in kavala a lot, it is my opinion the 150k house is probably the BEST house on the entire map. It is basically the only house with a view of the square. Yes, you can see the square from some other houses, but it's a tiny sliver through a bullet resistant window. Cops can and WILL jump the balcony from the market to get into your house.. Then drop you from the balcony in restraints. Don't ever get downed with the front balcony door open! This is nothing but a troll house. Don't ever store anything valuable in this house. pull a box truck out real quick to knock down the 2 trees and you have an amazing view of the square from the second floor. I too had to pay a premium to get this house back after the servers were wiped though not nearly what you had to, though I might have. Just how much I enjoy this location

I had the same problem. Open the ArmA settings, go to Video Under display set it to "normal". You're most likely set at "large" right now.

Nope, after 1500hrs I have changed nothing. The past few days i pull a HB sport out of my garage, run up to it and press "U" and instead of unlocking, it makes the "locked" chirp sound and says "you have locked your vehicle". so I press "U" a second time and it unlocks the car again.

-Spending 45 min in jail with the shakes. Don't always get the option to use pain killers. Sometimes after respawning(not in jail) the screen still shakes. -Pressing plates in jail normally gets reset after server restart. -HB Sport spawns out of garage unlocked frequently

you may have found out the hard way, but since you talk about being a medic, and most likely doing illegal things with lock picks, hehehehe, should mention you can't do your job as a medic when your character is wanted as a civilian. So server your time or pay your ticket otherwise you won't be able to do your job as a medic!

Kavala is a shit show. If you wanna hang around kavala here's 3 things that will greaty improve your experience: 1. Join a gang that always hangs around kavala (they'll have your back) 2. Be friendly and make friends with all the kavalians on the server you play on. Before long they'll all have your back too 3. Don't carry anything more valuable than a rook! Cause if you have nothing on you and get killed, all they've robbed you from was 30 seconds

1. Not many people use the radio. If it is an urgent message, i've just blurted it in side chat. When playing medic the only people that can see or hear the side chat are your fellow medics. 2. All your medical supplies are replaced upon respawn. I believe the adrenaline shots are for civilians. When a civilian defib is used, the patient wont be able to run for a brief time. The adrenalinle shot will allow him to run. Don't worry about getting them. 3. If you see police standing around a dead body, it's fine to revive them. Police can also revive people too. 4. One of the talents you can learn allows you to see other medics on the map so that should help with the confusion in your radio question In response to your other question on a different thread regarding medics being robbed. Yes, we get held up, all the time. Normally they just want the clothes. A lot of times you'll be gunned down reviving someone. It's just part of the job. If there is a war going on in kavala, or a major shoot out I like to drop my clothes and night vision and run around naked and when no one is paying attention, go in for the revive p.s. No, I don't believe they will be making female models for ArmA

Now that we have new forums, it would be great if an admin could post guidelines for what is considered RDM. It used to be that all you'd need was common sense to avoid being accused of RDM. As long as there was some kind of initiation and a brief time was given to the other player, anything could happen. What i've seen over the past few weeks is a lot of confusion regarding the rules, players that are still using old rules, new players using new rules and hesitation when it comes time to pull the trigger because you don't want to get banned for something if you're not sure of the rules. Used to be that once RP was initiated, anything goes. That's not the case now that it's considered RDM when the person complies. I also don't think it's fair to enforce rules that are not first made clear to the players.

if bounty hunters can just walk up and restrain bounties without any type of initiation, then we should be able to blast anyone with a bounty hunter badge if they come closer than 5m with no initiation to counter/balance that stupid implementation. EDIT: What lame brained justification was used to implement this feature? Doesn't this go against what the server stands for? RP? Isn't that one of the reasons RDM is not allowed? Players must be given a chance? In that case i suggest Bounty badges that can not be hidden, and KOS any BH within 5m. All these rules lately, stipulations, grey areas. Christ.
