Our last edition highlighted the string of bank robberies plaguing the country and the APD's inability to successfully respond accordingly. Since that expose the Altis Police Department stepped up its recruiting campaign and hired a surprisingly large and adept group of cadets. We all now some will not make it but the hopes of the Department seems to be on getting more boots on the ground to quell any insurrections that could have been funded by these robberies, our investigative reporter IceVenom sent us a report on one of the notorious groups that have taken part in these robberies : " 3:03 AM after the bank of Altis has closed a notorious gang known as "Drunk Squad" has broken into the bank armed to the teeth and waiting for a fight. Multiple fatalities at the bank including many police officers. After a long fight on the bank roof the officers lost yet another fight to the criminals. The criminals managed to make away with around 100 thousand dollars in bank notes." Our reporters will continue to investigate the perpetrators and attempt to shed some light on the motives of the individuals in question. We will be bringing you continuous updates on this story. The fish seemed to have disappeared from most of Altis's markets this seems to have stemmed from an influx of citizens steering away from lawful work to unlawful work. With the new wave of officers patrolling the streets , will we see an increase in fish production? or will the staple food of the country become a scarcity leaving the citizens to sustain themselves with grains and fruits. We cannot directly pinpoint the reasons but the ANN feels confident in its assessment and conclusion. Seismic Activity Wreaking Havoc Across The Country Across all of Altis residents are awoken and startled by a large measurable increase in seismic activity homes are being destroyed , and contractors are out in full force repairing and replacing the damage, the Governor has failed to comment on the the disaster response and the end to these nightmarish quakes is no where in sight. The ANN urges all citizens to drive and walk with caution to avoid injury, the Medical examiner's office has issues a statement advising all citizens to seek medical attention upon any injuries to avoid prolonged disabilities. Anyone who has experience in the field of seismology is urged to assist in any capacity. This Concludes our 3rd edition of our Paper. Eventually once I get my wealth up to purrchase property in Kavala, right now funds are tight so cant spend a lot of time in there.

The beauty of it is that I prefer this type of lite RP, I can play regularly and also build a story on the forums. The harder rp servers are a lot more uptight about everything else to make it fun. I appreciate the feedback, its not much work, mostly just trying to write this in a newsy sounding format , other than that i enjoy the shit out of it

A slew of bank robberies has the residents of Pyrgos on edge, Ivan Y. brings us a hair raising story about the state of the town's bank This week the bank of Altis Pyrgos branch has been robbed at gun point an alarming amount of times leaving the residents of Pyrgos to consider keeping their money elsewhere. The Altis Police Department has been stretched so thin that some robberies go unhindered and others end in bloodshed with the perpetrators making off with over one million Altis pesos in the course of one week. residents have expressed concern over this due to the increasing amount of collateral and property damage in the area. Government officials in Pyrgos have had talks of meeting with the Altis Police Department to discuss better ways to protect the bank . This week they will try and meet in Kavala where the Police Department's headquarters is located, we will bring you more on this later in the week. Other News Local Fisherman turned chemist has run in with APD In a weird and wacky turn of events a local fisherman who goes by the name of Augustino Sierra had a run in with law enforcement officers in the Illegal zones near Pyrgos, officials say. According to the police report Mr.Sierra was apprehended after trying to flee the scene. The officers arrived due to a call from a local citizen stating there was some suspicious activity in the zone. When apprehended and asked what Mr.Sierra was doing at the location Mr.Sierra responded with "I was called to repair and tow a broken vehicle" Officers found the statement suspicious and determined the vehicle was indeed Mr.Sierra's , law enforcement officials reviewed the suspects record and deduced that he was neither a threat to the city of Pyrgos and did not have enough information to make a determination on whether or not to arrest the suspect. He was given a fine and probation due to his successful work with the Pyrgos Safety Group. Police officials declined to comment. Real Estate market showing signs of revival Last week we ran a story about the Real estate market revival in the area in and around Pyrgos. After the story was ran citizens flocked to the town to purchase the remaining properties in Pyrgos. Pyrgos News network took a look at the number of homes available for purchase directly from the bank and noticed that only a few remained , with the remainder of the homes being listed or sold by individuals , this caused an increase in the cost to purchase a home in the area. The local government has declared that Pyrgos is now becoming the go to place to retire. We will continue to review the market and keep our readers up to date with this. A once sluggish economy shows signs of strengthening Pyrgos , a town who a fews weeks ago had few residents and even fewer business men has shown a dramatic increase in vehicular and foot traffic, the local shop owners have told PNN that their sales have grown since the new residents and PNN established their base in town. some residents have even opened new businesses such as Mother Russia Taxi, Sierra's Spirits, and Yerkinov Estates. these prominent members of the town have purchased large swaths of real estate and have provided a much needed bump to the local economy. No women in Altis? This article will dive into the reasons, recommendations and stories as to why not many women migrate to Altis, causing a dramatic decrease in new births and homosexual activity. A once happy town was devastated when they learned of the counter vagina culture in Altis, with some criminal enterprises kidnapping , killing , and even threatening to rape fellow female residents. once such resident spent over a week establishing herself to the move out of the Asylum due to excessive harassment and verbal abuse from the opposite sex. This culture has been ingrained in the minds of the country's social economics. In one interaction as a gang member was arrested, he was heard yelling things like " I will rape you" "you're a whore" and even worst. PNN condemns this sort of behavior and will pursue all violators with the full extent of its capabilities. We as humans can be very insensitive, however these matters are not to be joked with and EVERYONE should be respected, with the APD already spread too thin , is it too late to change things? more on this story next week.
