  1. The thing with spikes is you have to get in front of the vehicle. I have been an officer for a few years and have had many situations like this and it is fairly hard to pass someone who is willing to blow themselves up. Even if you pull ahead to get spikes, down they turn around or pull off. Occasionally, you can down them but that requires an officer having to pull ahead of them going about 200kmh-300kmh and avoid someone already trying to hit them, come to a full stop, identify and shoot at your target, which in that 30 seconds they are out of range.

  2. All officers have had a situation where they are in pursuit of a vehicle and the subject they are pursuing will become aggressive and will purposefully desync or ram their vehicle into the pursuing officer. Another example is the subject will begin 'break checking' a pursuing officer that will usually cause the officer to rear end the subject and kill the officer. This usually causes the officers' vehicle to become greatly damaged and the subject to get away unscathed.

    What I am proposing is that if a fleeing vehicle becomes 'rouge' and begins to put other lives in danger by ramming or break checking other vehicles, then officers should be able to make a judgement call and pit maneuver if a subject does a rouge action continuously and a chase progresses past a certain amount of time.

    I have been in many situations where i have feared to get to close to another vehicle because they would purposefully run me off the road or would try and do a 'rouge' action that would usually end with one of us being killed in a explosion. Most of these chases last for some time and is usually done at a high rate of speed so trying to keep up, stop, get out and shoot and also managing to dodge a 'rouge' subject is already a hassle. Especially going 200Kmh-300kmh

    Ways to keep officers in check of who is eligible to do this action:

    -Create a checklist that officers go by that they must go through before performing a pit maneuver 

    • have they attempted to run you off the road or cause harm using a vehicle multiple times?
    • Have you shot at them multiple times and still unsuccessful?
    • Have you attempted spike-strips?
    • Have you called for backup? (If backup is more then 5 mins out, then you are on your own)
    • Have you waited a good amount of time for the subject to wreck out but still unclear that they will?

    -Create a Training for 'rouge' pursuits and put individuals through a simulated training that will test officers to ensure they went through proper guidelines and protocols before performing action

    -Make officers certified to be able to perform this action and have their certification on their application

    -Officers who have performed the action must write a report about it for the APD chain of command and if things are still unjustified, take it to the administration level (If an officer fails to provide a report about the situation then it should be a automatic point on their application and trialed by administration)

    -If the pit maneuver was successful but the subject was killed in the process, then the subject should be pardoned but compensation should not be given as the subject attempted a riskful action using their own vehicle. A report should also be written and sent to the highest ranking officer within the TeamSpeak. (If the officer kills the subject and it was NOT justified; Reports on the officer are always welcome)

  3. As there are currently 5 airfields on tanoa, im attempting to introduce a new aspect that works the same as dp mission that a cache of "weapons/drugs" need to be transported from rebel island to the main island and cached in at the other non-rebel airports.... 

     

    this is seen as smuggling items throughout the country which introduces new gameplay into asylum servers.

     

    As a risk to this, the pilot (smuggler) would need to pay for the shipment of illegal items and then smuggle the items to desired location to recieve a increased payout

     

    EXAMPLE:

    Jack pays $10k for shipment of illegal firearms at rebel island..., (spawns as crate that can be magically put into a plane) 

    Police are alerted of a smuggler plane 

    Jack must fly from rebel island to Lijnhaven and emptys crate from vehicles inventory and jack is awarded $20k+ but recieves a 5k bounty per run

     

  4. Welcome aboard Asylum Airlines

    A ticket on Asylum airline ranges on:

    • Distance- $200 every 1km
    • Location (as in airport)-  rebel controled airports are $500 + Distance
    • Weather conditions- night time flights are $200 + distance ------- overcast (rain) is $250 + distance
    • Luggage- Backpacks are $50 to take aboard and firearms are also $50 ---- we allow illegal contrabands but if known by authorities then you are on your own
    • Danger in area- if we begin to take shots and it is a potential of harm to passengers and the airplane then the there is $250 added to the final price
    • Flight Lessons- $5000 

    We also are eligable to give you a parachute and allow you to jump at any desired location. 

    • The cost of this is $250 for the parachute

    The price pays for fuel, maintenance, and self-profit. The average price ranges from $100-$2000 and it could go beyond this rate depending on Danger. 

    The safety of passengers is the airlines primary concern as well as safety to the pilots and the airplane. Do not approach the airplane with a drawn weapon and please do not board or get off of the airplane until instructed to do so.

  5. There needs to be some sort of Activity that involves the ocean. Possibly a ship that is 3 to 4 km off the coast of kavala that allows police units to get involved in the ocean and allows for civilians to do "Pirate" activities. 

    Things that could be used out in the ocean:

    1. A whaling ship that takes 5 mins to "catch" a whale and then go to a processor and process it and then sell it at wongs
    2. have a cargo ship like structure that allows for goods to be taken (like: oil, rubber, mining gems, money, gold, etc...) and it would act as a prison break but is started by taking the crew hostage and waiting 10 mins for it to be completed.
    3. Have a drug ship that delivers drugs (that cost money to get a hold of so there is a risk to it) and it must be processed and you must take it to the drug dealer

    And  there could be a boarder that is illegal to civilans because it is a pirating section and anyone out there is to be brought back to the island of altis and charged for pirating and/or smuggling. (2.5+ km off the coast marked red or purple.)

    This should also be a KOS zone

    Turtle Poaching should also be moved into the pirating zone but still have a radius around it so that its still sectionalized to one spot

     

    This would not only be a new feature to the server but also a way for players to get away from land and explore the vast ocean among us. it would add a bit of realism into the island because pirating does take place  almost everywhere and it is one of the biggest global issues.

    Also the "Ship" doesnt have to be a ship, it could be like the oil rig (as it is built up with walls) It could be built with the hospital or a air control tower and much more, you just have to put your mind to it.

I've talked to several of my fellow officers and i have discussed that using the pistol adds to the roleplay experience but us officers have a pistol that doesnt allow for us to down a man with acceptible amount of rounds going into a criminal. I am here on behalf of serveral APD officers that we should be issued a four-five as our main pistol. The reason why i choose the four-five is because it is a .45 round that can pass through vehicles and mostly tier 2 body armor. this would not only benefit in firefights but also when it comes to Posession of APD equipment. 

    Benefits of the four-five:

    • Seperates weapons between APD units and Vigilanties
    • More realistic when it comes to downing a suspect/criminal
    • Eliminates the use of rifles and adds to realism for those hardcore APD units (as real cops carry a pistol with them all the time)
    • higher chance of success when it comes to a firefight. (when using a pistol)
    • Gives a reason for APD units to take advantage of the APD secondary.

    Cons of the Four-five:

    • Less amount of ammo in a magezine
    • Having to add another script that turns the weapon from lethal to downing rounds
    • more people wanting to rob police for their gear

    The weapon also is able to have a sight equiped to it, which also will increase the precision of the shooter. SWAT is currently the only available way for police units to use the four-five and from what i have experienced, it had added to the firefight as it has turned to a trustworthy firearm. From recent experience, running out of ammo is a decision of life and death, and currently the po7 isnt a trusted enough weapon to be switched to in a case of life and death.

    Some basic information about me is, i like to rp and i wish to get involved in gang activity within the asylum communities. i wish to have some fun funny moments but also some intense situations that bring a challenge to overcome. I wish to get to meet new people within the server and also be productive. i could careless for the money but thats a bonus. i wish to enjoy myself and i am fully against rdm as it ruins the experience and i understand that this isnt wasteland and i must approach a situation as to respect myself and the title of -TFS- as i represent the gang
