Hmmm. Each time we tested that last night it would spawn the bag on the ground behind the vehicle.

Likely an issue for that particular game session. I went to jail last night and both saw the hint, and paid bail to get out.

Also, for those who didn't quite catch the subtext of the notes: Lumber has various qualities now. The more rare the tree is on Altis, the higher the likelihood you will get more money for chopping it down (and processing it into planks). Happy hunting...

    Change log 8.1.1

No time to test changes related to any areas being moved today, so the locked in changes from last night are what are coming out (shortly I might add).
  12. Altis Lumber is open for business Seeing an opportunity to get bigger and harder wood, the Altis Lumber corporation has setup two lumber mills to process wood into planks (which have higher resale value). Once you have processed your wood into planks you can sell them to a Commodities Trader. Altis Lumber hopes that everyone will take this new opportunity to get wood on Asylum. Remember their motto: The harder the wood, the higher the value! Additional items in this patch: Players who disconnect while downed or restrained will now spawn a bag on the ground that can be sent to jail by the Police or any bounty hunter who has their bounty before the disconnect happened. Go to the bag, and scroll wheel to send combat logging d-bags to jail. The seizure of illegal items by the APD has been optimized. Also, zipties are no longer able to be seized by the APD. Bounty hunters participating in the Skip Tracer game system now receive a message when they arrest someone to show them how much honor they made for the arrest. Governor messages have been limited to 250 characters. If you already have a primary weapon equipped, and attempt to purchase another one, you will receive a message instead of automatically replacing your current weapon. The clothing system has been rewritten to more properly display custom skins (and to be much more efficient). You may no longer rapidly pull vehicles from the garage. APD officers who have been downed while in a vehicle can now be removed from the vehicle by players. Medics will receive more money for the service of reviving you now. Parole has been optimized and should be more reliable. The wanted list should now always show the proper name for a player who is wanted. Bounty Hunters: The "Enter Vehicle as Bounty Hunter" option will now only show if there is a restrained player in the vehicle. You can no longer capture a cartel with an SDAR (sorry fam, go get a real gun). The Community Goal discount for unlimited items should now apply properly. The APD opened a picnic area at Air HQ. Bring your boyfriend over and have a nice relaxing meal. Various backend performance fixes. Finally, the wanted system has been completely rewritten for optimization. This should reduce network traffic a ton when loading the wanted list. The other added benefit is that the theoretical maximum bounty is going to be much, much higher now. Who can get it up the highest? I guess only time will tell...

I'm thinking back, but didn't we set it up so that cops in restraints could get pulled out of a vehicle? I'm wondering if this is a new bug or not. Or are you saying that cops that are downed but NOT in restraints can't be pulled out?

Hotfix 3: Timber is now on the market, but has a very high unit count before reductions kick in. The price of timber has been slightly reduced. Timber is still much better than before the patch, but we're tweaking it down just a touch. It shouldn't be the only thing people want to do...

That was an individual run, not an hour of effort... He also likely did not own oil cartel given that pricing either.

    Change log 8.1.0

@JAY1HP well for starters: You can make 85k/hour doing oil (according to admins who I had actually do the runs in various vehicles) - so not sure where 39k is coming from. Oil was designed to sit between heroin and cocaine if you do it in a large vehicle. The pricing does just that. BUT - you don't even need one of those larger vehicles, it just happens to speed up your gathering some. You can still get oil with a pickaxe... Second, like Gnashes said you're trying to compare something that was put in as a legal activity with illegal activities elsewhere. Of course illegal things (high end ones at that) are going to pay more. Lots of people run meth. I look at the logs so I'm in a pretty decent position to know compared to someone who says they "have not done meth in ages". The oil update was geared at civs (not necessarily gangs). The gangs got a great tie in though since I flipped the oil cartel to have money go straight into a gang account rather than rubber which no one deemed valuable enough to fight over. I honestly don't see why people would be upset by any of this. New thing for people to do/more money for gangs/profit.
