Ya if they are a bad officer they will fuck up soon enough and be removed by points or blacklist. If you dont like an officer just dont patrol with him pretty simple.

I mean it's 1 of 2 things and both are a no form me apply early in the month get your time tracked your going for CPL 10 hours really ain't that much to play from when you apply. And if you apply early guess what your playtime is tracked earlier.

I don't remember how long you were a sgt+ for hell I don't even remember who most of the staff is. Again even if they have the bare minimum hours I don't recall anyone with the bare min time getting promoted. I have seen people apply play a shit ton not get it apply the next month play the bare min and not get it cause it was the bare min time. End of the day if you want to rank up you need to exceed the time that the rank would require. If you know it's gonna be a super busy month you can always talk with the staff that deal with your rank promotions and it can be taken into account but without exceeding the bare min by a bit it's extremely hard to get the rank. I would hate this as a higher up but I am retired if the current staff want it well they can probably implement it pretty easy don't think the Captains would object if they wanted it. But regardless if you want the rank you need to play above the minimum or this will change nothing.

Hmmm yes that thing that doesnt get updated. Junke you were a SGT+ for what about 6 months? I would say a good probably 95% of the meetings were before the 1st of the month cuz that just how timings worked out. I never seen you push for the meetings to be within the 1st and the 7th before whats with the change now? End of the day if you are only putting in the bare min time for the rank its very likely you will not get the rank. But if people want to wait longer for promotions for the same result anyways go ahead. Hell you want to potentially have less staff in the meeting to sway each other to vote for someone because they couldnt show up on the day thats fine as well. Hope the Captains dont think this is leaking but the meeting days the higher ups vote on is normally between the last weekend and the first weekend of the month and the winning day is the one that has the most votes so it would have the most of that rank there so they can talk about it and have a good group feedback and sway each other into voting for someone who they think is good.

Can I ask what is automatic? Because unless it has changed since I retired the CPLs playtime was being done by hand by a SGT+. Also unless the staff know who is going to apply for CPL the staff would need to track everyone since its not gonna be the same people every month.

So are you wanting a SGT+ to take down the playtime at midnight est on the 1st of every month for idk the number anymore so I will say 90+ Constables. You would need to find a SGT+ who really loves the paperwork side of the APD for that. I can tell you right now it is a huge pain in the ass to track that many playtimes, I use to do it for Constable inactivity. Now if you want to use the last 30 days that also creates a problem if the meeting is before the 1st the time will be influenced from the last month. Now if its after the 1st you have now given a SGT+ who does the CPL playtimes Constable playtimes to do as well. You want your time tracked before you play a lot of hours in the month stop applying at the end of the month then.

So idk how it has been since I retired but the meetings are normally the last weekend of the month or the first weekend of the next month. So I dont really see what this will change beside giving people a day so they can then annoy the shit out of the higher ups about if they got the rank or not. In terms of it letting people know when the meeting is so they can get the 10 hours before the meeting unless it has changed since I left if you only got the bare min for playtime 99.9% chance you will not get promoted. I think over my almost 2 years as APD staff I maybe supported 2 people who had bare min time.

A doc like the AFD could allow cheating and people just spaming submissions something we dont want so I dont see a doc being used. For people waiting a while for an interview I know that it very well does happen but I have only seen 1 guy in the whitelist channel since a week ago now and he only waited about 10 mins. If you are having issues finding an LT to interview you the channel does say to msg LTs after an hour. Just when you msg us tell us what you need and not just Hi.
