Shadowplay not showing up

Shadowplay not showing up in GeForce Experience, got a 960

I know your pain buddy. I reformatted my PC today. And shadow play is not showing up. If you find a fix, please post it here. Have tried everything.

mine works fine but i have a 660, is it just not recording? or you cant open up shadowplay to begin with?

Go to your my rig tab and make sure its connected to the internet, if its not, hit refresh/retry and then it will show up

I did the exact same thing, re-installed w7 formatted hard drive

yeah i googled the issue, and i tried that. Tried restarting. im fucked

Mines stuck on trying to make a internet connection :/

mine comes up with my LED visualizer. but no shadowplay tab

the only thing i can think of is, uninstall and re-install it. Maybe restart your router, maybe it cant make the connection? if it wont work i can maybe assist through teamviewer

I have found a solution. 

Go into your Program Files (x86)/NVIDIA Corporation/Nvidia GeForce Experience and make a shortcut of the GFExperience.EXE. When you make the shortcut change the properties to this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\GFExperience.exe" -shadowplay

Well shit I've had this problem and didn't even think to come to the fourms, mine would stay on Led but it just magically fixed itself

when you do what he did, when you launch geforce it will launch shadow play only

@Anton correct, but once you set up shadowplay, it is always on. you dont need to open it everytime.

Update: after running the Workaround, after a restart my shadowplay has returned to normal.

Are you running arma in fullscreen window? if so make sure your shadowplay has desktop capture on otherwise it wont record, i had same issue

Its not the fact that arma wont record its the fact that shadowplay was not showing up in geforce experience. it was acting as if i had a GPu that was not compatible. i fixed it tho.
