What's the best way to grow a gang?

Hi, considering pretty much every gang on server 4 has a 1.5k hour requirement and Envy owns all the cartels nearly 24/7, I decided to make a gang for newer people. But what's the best way to recruit people? I put up the recruitment page but I want to know if there are any ways I can make my gang look better so people will want to apply for it. Any one know how the bigger gangs got so big?

Recruit plebs. Its how 101 came to be and they are terrible.

Recruit people you see around , then start fighting and getting know as a gang, try to fight cartels and turfs, and start getting money into the gang acc and make sure your gang mates can finance themselves

If you decide to fight, don't fight big established gangs, you will probably get crushed, which is very demoralizing. Find the smaller newer gangs and fight them

Just go around the island and network, start off with a couple guys, rob some people, I'd avoid recruiting in Kavala too.

The first thing you need to have is a small core group of guys who get along really well. And go from there.

get 3k hours on koth, 2k hours on wasteland and 6k hours at cartels, and when you can rip any cunts head off you're gucci

Protip: Dont let your gang get super huge. When this happens you lose control over it and the actions of a few bad apples will ruin your gangs credability in an instant. And it is almost impossible to get that back. Keep it small to medium size, maintain control over your players and make sure they follow the rules.
