hello guys so im buying a new hdd because the one im using is diying anyone know of a good and free data migration tool that i could use?

Personally, I would start from fresh and get yourself some type of external hard drive to put all the crap you have on. 

Keeping a new HD clean and with stuff you really need on is always the better way to go also why HD buy a SSD. You dont want to clutter your new one with old corrupt files.

Just reinstall bro, your files could corrupt, etc safer to fresh install, windows too!

Are you going to use the HDD as boot drive? I switched to a M.2 Intel SSD just a few days ago and I used http://www.easeus.com/pc-transfer/best-free-data-migration-software.html as Intels cloning software didn't work with my SSD

I had a friend who tried to migrate his OS to an SSD from a HD, bricked his PC and lost all his data.

yea i was looking at this but im getting scared to use cuz people are saying shit can go wrong
