KOTH kills are pretty easy just because people are not careful and they run around pushing damn towers but you got some good skills and at least your weren't Opfor.

I've got an i5 clocked at 3.4 GHz and a Gtx 960 4gb with 8gb of DDR3. you reckon I could get some suitable fps with your optimization and in-game graphics?

Haven't really tested Arma's optimization but I think you could play 60-80 at Very High. 

A KOTH server it would most definitely be in the 30s, it's rather hard to run.
