Were the BE ports changed correctly on the servers? Maybe check again? @Gnashes @bamf EDIT: I meant if you could check that the BE ports are properly opened. These other communities that apparently have the same issue may no longer have the BE kick problem. However, we somehow still have the same problem...

Is it possible to use a different executable to host the server? Has this been attempted? I'm not very sure about hosting Arma servers, but would something basic like TADST work?
-
@bamf Any recent BE kicks since the last update?

I spoke with Linden just now, one of the owners over at Swiftnode, Asylum's server host. This is what I was told: Asylum uses high-end i7s and 16GB RAM for its dedicated servers. (Hardware) Bamf spoke with Linden recently, and Bamf said the BattlEye errors are not related to Swiftnode's network/hardware and that it is Bohemia's issue. The Asylum servers start to crash when they hit "around ~30mbps or so" according to Linden and Bamf. Linden thinks Bamf is right about how it is Bohemia's issue. "From what I can gather, and I will say I don't know anything in-depth about the Arma engine or its network stack, Bamf seems to be right in saying this is a Bohemia issue. You have multiple popular communities reporting from different providers, using different hardware, and different bandwidth carriers, so the chances of it being limited to one host is unlikely." "I offered up some gear in a completely different facility with more specialized carriers like Telia if Bamf feels like a change is needed on our part, but he said with the way everything currently centralized the latency to the database could be an issue with one server being in a different facility. I'm inclined to defer to his judgement since he is the one experienced with the ins/outs of the Arma server. But if he wants to make a change we'll do anything we can to help." In addition, I asked Linden if it is possible for them to provide Asylum with a new dedicated server on a different network and with different hardware, just to test. He said it could most absolutely be done, and he told me that option has never been brought up with him.

Olympus is currently using OVH if I remember correctly, and they have little to no issues. BTW, it also shows that Asylum uses Swiftnode. Not sure if they are using Swiftnode or ReliableSite. EDIT: Asylum definitely uses Swiftnode and leases their dedicated servers. Confirmed with Swiftnode's owner. The problem here is that no one knows what is causing the kicks; is it the host/server or has it been the mission file all along?

"It's Bohemia's fault."

Wouldn't Pyrgos be made a complete RDM zone during a bank because of the 300m radius?

Can't wait for... BattlEye kicks have finally been resolved.

Trolling, or am I?

I like some whole wheat bread, a generous amount of Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce, and a sliced lemon to make the best sandwich known to mankind. Hah... JK. My favorite food is probably steak-frites, moules-frites, or chicken cordon bleu. There are a ton more favorites... can't choose. Mmm!!!

Be patient; the wait will be worth it. We all had to go through the same thing when applying for the APD. Use your time wisely and make sure you study these two documents: 1. Suspect Detainment and Questioning (SDQ)2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Good luck!

The servers have only gotten worse. It's nearly impossible to play on the servers if there are more than 60 players connected. I haven't been able to enjoy my playing experience these past few weeks because of the lag and instability. The BattlEye kicks are rampant and constant. Asylum is gradually losing players. It's just the truth. People don't want to play unstable servers; many are going to leave to other Altis Life communities. This idea of holding ourselves back and blaming Bohemia is completely stupid. It doesn't help at all to blame Arma for dying out, either. This is a community, and it's going to fall apart because nothing is being fixed. I really love this community, but it is not going to hold together for much longer if this continues. I don't want to see Asylum die out. Is it really Bohemia's fault, or is it Asylum's development at fault? Why have we not changed server hosts/server hardware temporarily, just to test? Why are we blaming Bohemia and the falling player count of Arma instead of attempting to fix the problem? Do other competing Altis Life servers have the same issue? The servers literally cannot handle more than 60 players at once without severe lag or BattlEye kicks. Is there a possible source to these issues, such as inefficient scripts or lack of server resources? Why don't we try getting rid of useless scripts that only hog server resources, such as the rally races? Bringing the server count from 4 to 2 does not seem to help either; it's just congregating more players into a smaller space, creating more kicks and dissatisfaction among the community. What do you guys think? We need to get together as a community and bring Asylum back to its former glory, else it will just fall apart from here. I am not trying to criticize the staff team or development team of Asylum, and I am not trying to point fingers, either; I am simply bringing up my concerns for the community because I care about it. I appreciate the efforts of everyone, but we need to start doing something as a community before it is too late.

Beautiful!

The issue has been fixed. Thank you all for the help!

I might honestly just wipe again and try from the start. Turns out I have a bunch of corrupted DLLs from .NET Framework and within System32. I'll try repairing the files from my Windows installation USB or just start all over. EDIT: Fixed the issue by upgrading my Windows 10 version to the new Fall Creators Update. However, now I cannot connect at all to Wi-Fi because my network adapter's drivers aren't compatible with the new Windows version.

The only folders in AppData --> Local are "Arma 3" and "Arma 3 Launcher."
-
The folders do not exist in any of the AppData folders, even if you display Hidden files and folders. Can you try and see if you can see such "Bohemia Interactive" folders in AppData?
-
Not installed at the moment.

I just wiped my PC because I was having issues when logging in and having my desktop disappear and flash constantly. Now that I have re-installed Windows 10 Pro and Arma 3, I am unable to launch Arma 3 from Steam. I can launch Arma3_x64.exe from the installation directory, but I cannot open the Arma 3 Launcher. If I try to open it, it will not open at all and will act as if I never opened it. If I try to open Arma 3 from Steam, it will act in a similar way; it will say "Running" and then it will say "Syncing" and close. Nothing ever pops up. Has anyone else had this issue? How do you fix it? I've tried most of the launcher troubleshooting from here: https://arma3.com/launcher/troubleshooting and have not yet come to a solution. I would appreciate any help.
