Small update: Ive figured out the basics of how to play and worked my way up to buying my first tiny house. Im now working in my own gang that focuses on helping new players. If you know any new players send them to athira on s1 and tell them to find Xilvius, ill show them how to make some form of income, and also offer free-of-charge healing and repairs. When you see [ECO]Xil's Transp. know we are there to be of any help.

Really we will help anyone understand how to play and make *some* form of income. After they have learned all they can from us, some may wish to go join other gangs and this is perfectly ok. We will always remain a helpfull and nonhostile group for everyone. If you see the name Xilvius, think friendly! =D

I said low tier jobs. not everyone wants a target on their head for running drugs or costly materials. If you ask me, i think the server could use some more "noob-friendly" groups. I am not trying to be rich, just trying to enjoy myself with some friends.

Day before yesterday I started playing for the first time. I encountered a fellow that "hands up or die"-d me. I ignored him, so he killed me. ok. Everytime I respawned for the next 5-7 times he runs to me and keeps doing the same thing over and over and over. Is this trolling allowed? Granted, I could have spawned in a different town, but I had just started and bought my first car while this was going on. So are people allowed to keep approaching you and robbing/killing you when you respawn like that?

Thanks for the helpful advise. I already have a small 40k house and just started a eco gang with my friend, we are getting decent loot mining, might look into diving now. -thumbs up- Appriciate it.

Not sure if sarcastic or serious, but thanks lol. It can be a pretty violent world, so we aim to create a plesant alternative for new people.

Our gang is a strictly non-criminal economic clan. As a very tiny,(2 members as of my writing this) economic group we are looking for like minded individuals. Our group does alot of low tier jobs around the Athira reigion. We are currently accepting anyone who isnt looking to murder or rob people. All newcomers are welcome to join. We operate by running small vehicles out to job sites like the mines or peaches and run them into town. We also help any injured people or repair broken down cars for free when we see anyone in need. Anyone interested in joining can reply here, and ill try to reply in a timely manner. If you are new to the game and trying to learn we will also be helping out new players get established as far as figuring out legal ways of making money and how to operate the UI, ect. The only requirements we have is that you have a mic for communication and that you be a mature and civil minded human being. Other than that you can have 0 hours, no money, no idea wtf is going on right now, and we will do our best to help you figure it out. =)

We are in Athira, doing mining now. Only problem is since my friend and i are super new we dont really know which gangs are "good" gangs. I figure if we stick around long enough for people to get used to seeing us, and know what we are about we will hopefully stop being robbed and.murdered so often.

I thought picking peaches was low profile LOL. right now just my friend and i. Mostly we are ok, but id say maybe 3 -5 times a day get ganked for nothing. Didnt wanna join a gang because i dont want to be murdered all the time, just trying to make a little cash and help out people who are hurt or need a car fixed.

Its not fun for us civs lol. I gues i didnt realize people got bounties even when the guy theyre robbing doesnt have anything. Ive only been playing for two days now so im still trying to understand how things work, and appriciate everyones input. I guess ill have to invest into some bodyguards or something to keep myself safe.

At what point does one get bored of walking up to unarmed civs with nothing and monotonously saying "backpack or die" just to rob them of a empty backpack? I can understand if you are trying to get some loot, but what is the point of continually robbing someone who you already know has nothing, or even someone youve killed for noncompliance and has respawned?

Fairly self explanitory. Im looking for a house with vehicular storage, preferrably around Athira on server 1.

I been looking through the business forums to see what big commodities are. My friends and I are looking to start a business supplying people with things they need. There is so much information to go over, ive been reading through it for days. Hopefully we can get established, and start being of use to everyone lol

Salutations to everyone. I'm completely blind-new to arma in general as well as the altis life mod. A few friends and myself had tried to play before, but kept getting attacked and had no clue what any of the controls were or anything. If there are any veteran players that would be willing to meet up with me,possibly with a couple friends, and help show us the ropes, i.e. the controls, different factions, ect. I've read over the guides here a couple times, but I think i would have a better experience with someone there to help us out a little. Any assistance is much obliged. If not, you may see us still stumbling about the server trying to figure things out, have mercy we're noobs lol
