-1 if they ever do that I am done with Asylum. Spent too much time on the server and loving the AFD to watch it turn to something as horrid as that. All the AFD wants is to be pulled into the fun and not pushed aside. Its a combat based server that at one point was more geared for light/med RP. Now that is is almost 100% combat; no one has interest in a faction that has no real combat involvement. As it stands the AFD is the PVE faction for a PVP server. Giving the AFD some kind of role that is classed as a "combat medic" would perhaps itch that need for combat. However, the role would involve giving weapons to the user. The AFD is used to getting shutdown at every turn. Along with being "hated" by the community. We can't just give up, we will always push for what we feel is best for the faction, players, and server. If the owners ever did as you recommended it would make many long standing members leave the server for good. Not something the server could handle at this time, if ever.

A sickness/plague has fallen on the island of Altis. The AFD is working alongside the APD to establish a base at ground zero. From the looks of it, Kavala will be under quarantine. Entry into and exit out of Kavala will be through one primary checkpoint. Weapons of any kind are prohibited in Kavala at this time. You and your vehicle will be searched at the checkpoint upon entry. Upon exiting Kavala, you will be searched again to verify that you have not taken the cure. During the quarantine, the APD will be protecting "the cure," while the AFD will be administering it to those who have fallen ill. Side effects of the illness will be comparable to drug withdrawal with added effects. The spread of the sickness will be at random. The "cure" during this event will be the pride and joy of the one or ones who get their hands on it. The cure will be sellable on the black market with a value worth more than gold. During the event, the number of cop slots will be increased to maximize defense. The idea is still in the works, and much is to be discussed. Shout out to @K0Mat0s3 who had a role to play in the creation of this idea.

Make tutorial mode stay in effect even if a new member somehow dies...

Exactly, I definitely am a RPer at heart so something like that would be awesome. I also would not mind it if the AFD had something like a combat medic for things like fed events or "shooter" situations. I know the Devs sure as heck don't give a rip about that idea but it would be so cool! Sadly updates don't come to the AFD and ideas are shot down like it is a sport.

In what way would you tell someone to come and play on Asylum? What are all the positive things? Or perhaps, why should someone not play on Asylum? What are all the bad things? Good Ideas, I can see the value in all of this. However, I can't side with EMRs gaining the ability you use the extinguishers. It sucks as is with EMR now being an open to all slot. The owners didn't even ask the AFD if it was ok with this change. Having restricted access to things is an aid to motivating EMRs to advance in the ranks of the AFD. The AFD sadly does not have much of a supportive community. With everyone having the ability to take the AFDs job makes it simply a joke to most. For me personally the AFD has always been my favorite faction since 2017. It pains me to know that most recommendations that would help the AFD simply get ignored or overlooked. If I knew how to code I would solely set my intentions to become a Dev and make improvements in places that no one cares to pay attention to.
