    APD has no consequences for jumping out of their armored vehicles and getting killed because their vehicle will remain locked. Make it so they have to press [U] to unlock/lock their vehicles. I don't care about the amount of armor that gets pulled, it's more about the fact that you should get rewarded in a fight for ripping a cop out of a vehicle or killing a cop that ego drops on you in a fight. I understand they can still press [U] to lock their vehicle while jumping out, but it still adds something for cops to do while jumping out of their vehicles.

    Keep in mind, this can also apply to normal situations with hatchbacks and such. If some rebels kill some cops after getting their engines shot out, and the cop tries to drop out of their hatchback without locking their vehicle, those rebels should have the chance to use that vehicle if the cop doesn't press [U] to lock after jumping out.

    You've clearly never played cop, if this was a thing people would just spam enter on your car as soon as you unlock it, there is a reason that script has been there since the begining. Imagine trying to put someone in your car in Kav Square when theres 15 people there all spamming enter to get in your car and steal it. 

    Please think what kind of consequences the changes you reccomend will have on everything, not just 1 scenario to make it easier for you to steal armor from the APD.

    Become a BH and get Lockpick and a Dream, i have gotten more 1 try lockpick attempts than not.

    What are you talking about man? How is Bounty Hunting getting more popular? Bounty Hunting is more difficult than it has ever been. Im a career Cop and Bounty Hunter and i can tell you now, it isnt easy. Normally i get 100k bounties that are with 5 man groups, impossible to fight solo especially when they are in ifrits and i only have a 6.5. I don't know what server you've been playing but Rebels roll around in Ifrits more than anything else. 

    Also the addition of the MXSW Wouldn't be very smart because its a hybrid of the MX and MXM, so you're esentially buffing Bounty Hunter and Rebels at the same time because you can just put Tracer Mags in it. Im not sure if that makes it a downing weapon but it used to work like that in the past. 

    Nonetheless, Rebels are extremely strong, money is easy to make and a full rebel loadout costs like 20k. 

    I think you just posted this after being Bounty Hunted a couple times in a day when you're solo or a duo, feel free to prove me wrong.

    I made it to sergeant a few years back, Im not a shit cop i just dont join the channels with higher ups because id rather play in a small group to prevent coms being cancer as 95% of the time when a sergeant / Lieutenant or captain join a channel it gets bombarded with people. Ever wonder why certain channels have limit restrictions now? also why do you think Captain ken has been sitting in captains office for the last few nights while on cop? if it wasnt a thing he would join a patrolling channel but he clearly doesn't want to get people constantly joining him.

    If you dont join a channel with higher ups, how do you expect them to get to know you? And if you deserve Corporal?

    You don't get feedback unless if you ask a Sergeant on teamspeak. Just because you were a shitty constable doesn't mean you have to suck anyone off. As long as you're not a cunt and you know what you're doing you're fine. Its about confidence and having a good relationship with everyone, not just the Sergeants. I dont know why everyone thinks of good relationships with higher ups "kneepadding" you're delusional.

    Maybe that is why you've never been promoted, because you just dont deserve it, even thought of that? Its not a guaranteed position.

    And of course any abuse would result in possible removal from the APD with a blacklist, Im sure something could be added to make constable more enjoyable without making all the rebels complain about being too broken.

    Hello, buggin, a 90% cop 10% civ here, ive played asylum for the longer part of 4 years now and been a cop for just about 3 years. 

    As per what Bilbo said, Constable is the shithole rank, basically no hour requirements and you get decent guns, Promet, MX. 

    If you'd like something better and dont want to "kneepad" Sergeants, which is false but ill put it like this anyway, just apply for SWAT, if you're a good player and the APD knows that you're capable, then you get access to AK's, MK1's, and SWAT Armored Vehicles. 

    Constables dont need a buff, if you'd like better weapons to fight people in ifrits, then apply for SWAT or Corporal.

    11 Hours on cop? And you think you're an experienced member? Please man, in my eyes you have absolutely no say about us not responding to your 911 Messages, or anything in the APD for that matter, you quite evidently don't have enough playtime within the APD for your suggestion to actually be worth for anyone to take seriously. Also the way you type gives me terminal fucking illness.

    Why would you like to join Prime: Ive been playing on Cop for a very long time now, i legit almost forgot how it is to be a civ. And from previous experience on Asylum, playing solo isnt very viable at the moment. Plus i want a group to play with in general. I can offer a good arma 3 player to the table, good pilot, driver, fragger. Im the man for the job.

    How active will you be? (Ex: 5-6 Days a week): Basically daily, as long as theres someone else online to group up with.

    None of any significance, but i was in sE, Los Zetas, and some other ones made to fuck around. 
    I have been in ALOT of groups though, made to just literally terrorise everyone with the whole meaning. Like mug, kill, steal, kidnap, just all around chaos. I do have experience in team play and what not.

    Im preety sure the way that Arma works, the higher the settings are the more hardware the game utilizes. 

     

    For example, if you have all your settings on the lowest that they can be then the game will only use CPU. If you have a mix between High and Medium it uses GPU and CPU. Still not at their full potential but it uses GPU and CPU depending on your settings.

    Also overlocking your CPU and GPU helps alot. Usually all GPU's have a good enough Cooling System that can support a bit of overclocking.

    And on the other hand CPU's just need a goodish to good Air Cooler thats like £10-£15 around 13$-20$ and you can easily overclock your CPU to its max. I got a AMD 8350 with a 120MM fan on a Medium Sized heatsink and its around 4.5Ghz and under load around 80C. Intel wont need as much cooling because they mainly have better chipsets, but anyway. 

    Your settings dont have to be on low. Just try to get a perfect mix between Med and High settings.
