I legit don't know how ArmA's community got hijacked to the point that the majority of the population despises 1st person because they cant see over walls, but its reality. 1st person only solves a ton of issues i see in wasteland / life servers, but it makes people "uncomfortable".
A lot of people complaining about tanks & apcs probably wouldn't if they had limited field of view as they do in first person. Lone armor is very easy for infantry to kill.
Unfortunately 1pp is a population killer. Hopefully the game mode is popular enough that we can have 2 servers, but we'll see.

Some people will be good at utilizing combined arms while others bitch that it's not all 7.62 and ifrits so they can't win or solo tanks.
If vehicles are locked to their respective factions (e.g. the wipeout), everyone will play BLUFOR.
The volcano will be important to control but people will just bitch that tanks need to be nerfed / removed.
Jets will get countered hard and won't be as good as people are afraid of.
People who can't fly will take all the pilot roles.

on the slim chance you see another player, you wont know it is one and you cant do anything with them
the game probably has no netcode and its all a meme. everything lists it as singleplayer

Developers push back release dates all the time. Seeing as they're announcing the specific release date in mid-June, I wouldn't put my money on seeing it fully launched before the end of the month.

I don't think we'll be getting Apex on the 30th. The map has quite a few bugs and obviously W.I.P. elements, and the weapons / vehicles haven't even received testing at all yet.
They'll announce the actual release date at E3, and I'm guessing it'll be late July / early August.
