  2. *This is a followup suggestion to the whitelisting of medics. I am skeptical of this idea but I'm posting it to see what everyone else's thought are.*

A person can either choose to be a Whitelisted Officer or a Whitelisted Medic, BUT NOT BOTH.

This will allow to make the medic role stand out more and will allow the player to choose a path into what career he might be interested to pursue. A medics primary objective is to enhance and promote roleplay in the server and secondary is to provide healing services across Altis. In order to make sure a medic can provide effective roleplay, a test similar to the Cadet ridealong in the APD can be implemented in some way for medics.

Since medics do not see combat and thus cannot make money by farming, performing illegal/legal activities and are only restricted to healing, their revive payouts could be increased to 3k-5k, any healing services such as the use of FAK's, blood bags, splints, and painkillers can also reward medics small payouts of $10-$100 depending on which used.

P.S. I'm more than sure I lost many of you as soon as I said you can't be both a cop and medic. But once again, that's only to provide unique idea to this because everyone seems to always say the same thing when these threads are made "Why not just copy Olympus then."

So basically, you're suggesting we add more talent points, without adding more talent points.

We'll just call them perks instead?

Talents, Gang perks, Honor/Infamy tree + (extra) Perks.

I don't know man... all the perk trees are confusing to people as it is already. They don't even know the Infamy tree exists sometimes, or that the gang perks are even there.

I see your point but the current system in place only benefits those who go a certain route.

Talents: Universal way of people upgrading their character

Gang perks: only available if in a gang

Honor/Infamy: only available for bounty hunters

My idea would basically add another universal way of "leveling" while still maintaining the Asylum feeling.

  4. So I was browsing some old topics in the forum and discovered a few people kept on asking for more talent points. What if instead of adding more talent points, there could be a way to add more customization by still maintaining the same talent tree system we have now but adding a bit more to the mix. Allow me to explain myself...

Keep the talent tree system in place but add a separate Talent "Perk" slot that a player can access from Talent points tab on your phone and players could choose what perks they could have active at the time. For those who have played KoTH, it would be similar to that. Players will have a max of 3 perk slots active at a time, if a player wishes to change their perks, they can but must pay a fee to change it and will reset progress towards pro version, perks will have a "pro" version (similar to call of duty style of perks) the more you use that perk, the better it will get, thus giving you more benefit.

These are just some of the ones I could think of at the time but this is mainly so you get an idea of what I'm talking about.

    • Talent Perks (only 3 active at a time)
        - Lightweight - Stamina drains slower, replenishes quicker (pro version)
        - Lawyer - Requires 1 less approval vote to get out from courtroom, Charges have less value towards jail time (pro version)
        - Mechanic - Repairing vehicles is faster, (Pro version TBA)
        - Fisherman - Catching fish is quicker, Receive double the amount of money per fish sold (includes turtles) (pro version)
        - Narco - Processing drugs is quicker, 50% quicker yield at drug fields (pro version)
        - Lungs of Steel - Hold breath longer while underwater, Can hold breath for double duration while aimed down sight (pro version)
        - Surgeon - Can revive quicker, (pro version TBA)
        - Charismatic - Products bought from stores cost 5% less, Receive 10-20% more when selling/chopping any product (pro version)

These are just some of the ones I could think of at the time but this is mainly so you get an idea of what I'm talking about.  *For those who need a visual representation*

P.S. you may feel as if some if not most of these perks look like trash, this is simply just to get a feeling of the system, not the perks themselves.

  5. +1 but to add to it. In order to motivate medics to head out of towns and actually go revive people across the map, a system could be implemented that gives medics extra cash per revive depending how far the person is from them.

Example: Base pay $1500 + $100 per every 1k distance traveled. (Distance will correspond to the initial request from the downed person)

Extra: medics will get payed a bit more if reviving in active hot zones (Cartels, turfs, bank, fed, prison, etc)

this is practically an idea but if it is popular enough it could become a real thing.

Essentially, I would host gambling events.

Example: 10 people commit to betting 10k.

There are websites and programs that work as a randomized picker.

I add the 10 people and the winner would receive 100k.

    1. If you die, you wire all your money that you made to someone else, after selling all of your vehicles. If you managed to buy a house, give that away. Anything that you gained in your life you give away except for talents you can keep those.

I'd just rdm you every time ingame so you can wire me your money :)

let me guess, 1 minute later you fell over and all those bullets somehow traveled time into your head?

    what usually happens, baddddd lagggggggg.....

Nah, he missed all his shots. When I opened the door at his house he sprayed me and missed a full mag. Rushed in and got him while he was reloading. Usually happens when Kavala gangs try going for cartels :)

Edit: I see what you mean. No clue how those shots didn't kill me tbh.
