We all know you guys knew no one would play this "event" if you didn't include the possibility of it being saved. It is obvious you intentionally left room to back peddle out of the idea, but I think most of us trusted you wouldn't. We know you were fuming about the fed when it was being spammed, but you shouldn't make impulsive decisions as the figurehead. People want stability in a community like this, and your immaturity is being put on display. It's not too late to unfuck yourself

If I were you buddy I wouldn't be repeating the same talking points. I think the community, no matter which way we all interpreted the announcements, all agree that there were allot of unanswered questions that resulted in unforeseen confusion. Very unclear as to what your true intentions are here because there are some announcements that contradict others. You should spend some time reading through them. Maybe even some of the suggestions

You can put the screenshot back on your post I want people to see who contributed, and see that I'm not lying about how easy it is to get the same thing I have right now. I have nothing to hide

I'll be the first one to tell all of you my real estate list is full of prime shit 100% but that only proves the point I was making in the first place. These people complaining about being disadvantaged are disadvantaged because they didn't participate. The server was several hours, probably close to ten, into a wipe before I was able to get off work and login the other night. And still, as I stated several times already, there is still prime real estate available on that database this very second. So your implication is moot

Save the data, disable the fed. Who gives a fuck if envy has allot of money already? They invested the time giving you the data, let them have it. The economy isn't already fucked just because some of them have a million dollars they are small fish in a barrel. There is still prime real estate to buy and plenty of ways to make money. Honestly, if you read the thread here you will see that most of the community wants a content update more than they want a wipe. However, they also approve of the wipe. As I said, save the data, and wait until there is a significant content update to do a full wipe and people will appreciate it. I think many of us would agree that disabling the fed, maybe even the bank (although I wouldn't suggest that) for a week so cops can EARN their talent points instead of being handed them when no civs were handed anything; we can pick up where we left off.

Besides, the only feedback I got from anyone near admin team, management, etc whatever you call yourselves was crying about envy the entire fuckin time so don't even go there with "fun event"

You can sit here and back peddle and pretend all you want. These selfish and immature decisions are what killed the server pop in the first place. You can talk about Arma 3 dying all you want, but that's not an excuse you can hide behind. Just do a side by side comparison to Oly & Asy and you can see plain as day that the Arma 3 community doesn't agree with something you guys are doing here. I like Asylum and wholeheartedly want to see it be successful as long as possible and that's why I still play here. But as you know, not everyone who logged in during this "fun event" doesn't see it that way

I understand your point, and you have a good point. Their intentions should have been made very clear from the start and unforeseen confusion we are experiencing wouldn't have arised. However, we are here now and my point I've been making to everyone is just to be a part of what's taking place now before we all start knocking it. Many of the people complaining haven't even logged in longer than 30 minutes just to play on the server and test it as intended. Yet they are advocating for changes on the forums as though they actually care about the success of the community and not just being able to buy the best houses. Albeit they can still login this second and have one of the best houses in an hour.

Gotta read between the lines man. Of course it's saying test wipe, and this is actually a test as stated. However, it is unreasonable of them to think people will actually login and spend time playing the server for nothing in return and only to lose it all for good.

If you didn't conclude from his post that there would be a permanent wipe that results from this, I don't know what else to say to you tbh ngl I've personally seen one or two of the folks you quoted above advocating for a full wipe before it happened and I guess they just couldn't handle not hoarding tens and hundreds of millions of dollars

I was one who complained about not being able to find houses I wanted before I actually logged in and tried also. Now my real estate list is full of prime locations. Just goes to show you who is actually playing and supporting the server and who is trying to drag it down with their jealousy and greed. Like @Travis.said, right this very second there are sheds and 3C's for sale at market price, in prime locations all over the map. There is no reason for these people to be on here talking about they didn't have a fair chance.

My guy.. @Boonie Hat stated in his post the temp database would be used for future wipes, days before the wipe occurred

It seems as though the server is being adjusted to cater more to smaller gangs. Bring back cocaine cartel, heroin cartel, and meth cartel. This would encourage smaller gangs to challenge cartels. We don't have to make them the same locations as before, but even if we did it would still encourage more fights because it will be new content to the newer players, and reliving the old glory days for older players.

I honestly dont understand why cops are complaining about that though. It's free and it costs nothing to lose

Yea and I certainly think two consecutive wipes would have a negative impact on the server. I agree it should have been done on an actual weekend day as initially implied but the damage is already done. So many people have actually been on the server playing and grinding that there's no point in having another full wipe.
