I have played asylum since early 2015 and donated hundreds of dollars since. Asylum was fucking great. Rule breakers got banned. Now, i'm finally done. Today i learned rdm is no longer bannable to help asylum keep their player numbers up. Lets get this straight: You suposedly have to verbaly or text message initiate and give adequate reaction time as INITIATION. This is how you INITIATE. Hitting a target with your first and only shot is not initiation nor has it EVER been. This has ALWAYS been bannable RDM. If all i have to do to initiate is shoot someone and have them react in self defense, ffs lets start having some fun! This report got denied and the reason being: "you returned fire which validated his initiation, no action taken." Firing and hitting someone is not initiation. It is not ATTEMPTING initiation. There is NO DOUBT what the intentions were. Asylum, farewell and good riddance. and to the admins, i hope the rest of the real players leave and all you are stuck with is a wasteland server with people not willing to donate, just kill.

Arma had a graphics update? or the graphics card driver becuase i did that after i saw the graphics....

yes, my graphics card is msi gtx 970. you are mistken. look at the roads. they are all very very light, and the dirt roads dont disperse into the ground. they are a solid color. Buildings also dont have their textures load in unless my character is touching them AND zoomed in. EVERYTHING is too light.

Ok, so a week ago I was able to play arma/asylum with no issues. Now when i play textures aren't loading properly, i am stuttering like a bitch and i have no clue why. I went to play last night but saw the game was uninstalled. Idk why but it was. I reinstalled it and this is when it all went south. Another issue my pc has been having is when i go to make it shut down/sleep it keeps the fans/LEDs on so i have to hold down the power button to force shut it off. Could these issues be intertwined? This is what I have tried to do to fix the issues: Reinstalled arma Defragged my hard drive updated graphics driver verified game cache Contemplated quitting arma and becoming a monk These are screenshots of the texture issues:

So i think that if you shank someone you are at war with in prison, you get a war kill. To stop this from being OP, you should only be able to shank the player 1 time for a kill per sentence.

Hello everyone, it seems as though tac-coms are seemingly more difficult for some people to understand than for others so I made this helpful guide for all those slow learners out there.

Status update: Reinstalling still did not work, it is not set to my onboard graphics, it is indeed my gtx 970, and i have no clue what else to try. Any and all suggstions are appreciated besides the ones stated above. This is near unplayable.

Will do! I know i should have upgraded the cpu Im looking at getting the intel i7 4770k but that is quite pricy because i would need to get a new motherboard as well... (I do take donations if you want my paypal )

My bad for forgetting the ram, i have 8gb ddr3 ram. I did in fact use DDU and yes, my drivers are up to date. I will try reinstalling arma 3 completely then do this method.

My specs: Cpu: amd fx 8320 Gpu: msi gtx 970 Psu: 600w somthing Motherboard: im not sure the model and am not capable of chacking this moment but will soon. It is a generally old model i know and is gigabyte. Hard drive: WD blue 1 tb 8gb ram I have tried editing my config file with the max frames ahead or whatever it is to 1 but that didnt seem to do anything.

My other games are fine. For example, on rainbow 6 before i had 25 frames on low and now have 100+on ultra. My old card is an r7 240

So i will start out by saying this. I just upgraded my gpu from a potato to a gtx 970 and had around 27-32 frames constant and could fly in a heli with > 1 fps. Now, with my new graphics card i get lower fps, and cannot be in a heli with more than 1 fps. I have cleaned out and installed my drivers, my launch prefs are good, my settings are on high, as were before, and i have no idea what the issue is. I know that arma is a mostly cpu game but going from a graphics card that is as complete SHIT as the one i had before to a 970, there should at least be a 5 frame increase, not a DECREASE! I'll take any any suggestion to fix this. (P.s. my cpu is the amd fx 8320 and yes, i know amd is shit, ive heard it a million times.)
