I participated in some of the events when they were at their peak. Just to clarify the much larger tournaments had a teamspeak bot that would place teams varying ELO since they were they were too large to have the captain system.

You would be surprised, these tournaments were pulling over 1500 people per event back when they had prizes for them.

There are some league of legends communities that host draft tournaments. How some of these tournaments work is they have people sign up on teamspeak or discord and are all put into one channel. Then they pick a certain amount of captains or people volunteer based on how many people showed up and each captain picks from the pool of players 1 by 1. I know some of the Gang War judges wanted to have smaller gangs participate, thats why they made it 8v8. This tournament gives a chance to all people that want to participate in the gang wars but cant find a team. Some people might want to have regular gang wars which is fine, so maybe you can try both and see how they work?

Build a gang with up to 10 people. You can use any player that has ever played on asylum, including people that have quit the game. I'm just trying to get some discussion going since this sub-forum is inactive.

The reason why there isn't a NLR is because its supposed to simulate a real police force. In real life the cops wouldnt magically stop coming to a fire fight. Another reason is rebels have access to better gear so its easier for rebels to kill police officers.
