Honestly, I would donate some money to get Tanoa back right now...I just do no see why the devs aren't considering it. It is a Strife vs. Tanoa at this point, because you brought up money. We don't want coke, we don't want Turtles, we don't want any of that. We want to see the beautiful map that we all know and love. We want to fight at the cartels we all know and love. Most of all: We just want Tanoa back.

Strife was popular for about a week and then went down to about 5 people max. Tanoa was always above 20 people. Normally 45-50. Those numbers are much better than Strife's. I completely understand about your budget, and I understand you need to make money to keep these servers running, but I do not see how Strife will "bring in new players". If I was a new player and went on Strife, I would not in a million years think that is connected to a Atis Life Server. Even if a message pops up, I probably wouldn't go check it out due to the fact that I had come to play a purely "PVP" server and most likely would have no intrest in joining an Altis Life server.

That's not true. Much of the fighting was ACTUAL COMBAT using ACTUAL SKILLS. There was no 1km shots or Ifrit drops. It was purely CQC - Medium ranged combat. If you actually took time to adjust to the different fighting techniques, you would find that it brought a great new experience from the same old bland Altis. I do agree that the gangs were very much in control of coke at times, but that was not the only way to make good money. For me, I turned to a new method of Virem Runs. The way I did them, made it so I got 120k per run. 700k in two days isn't that bad.
I think why many of us Tanoa supporters loved the map was because it gave us a break from the same old barren Altis that we all had been playing on for years. I think it is a good idea for us Tanoa supporters to band together and write a document of what we think could be changed to better the map. If you think you would like to help, please PM me for further information on how to start working on the document.

This campaign to bring back server 5 Tanoa needs lots of support on the forums. If you are reading this comment and you would like to see Server 5 Tanoa come back, leave a like or quote this. We know we have lots of support, but our support needs to be shown through the forums!

I do not see why and of the communities suggestions are taken into consideration. Tanoa has a great backing, and was overall a great server. With a few tweaks here and there the server can rack in lots of money and become even more successful than it was. Strife (like stated above) was popular for a week and then died down. You also have to expect Tanoa to have less off a population as it was not a free map. Of course not as many people are going to be on Tanoa as Altis because not as many people are going to buy the DLC. All we aare asking for is to have an open forum to discuss Tanoa, and for the developers to consider what is said in this forum.

I say bring it back, STRIFE was hype for a couple of days but now it's dead as fuck. There were always more players on Tanoa then there has been on STRIFE in the past couple of months or so.
The cocaine was already nerfed on there to a point where doing cocaine was questionable for those looking to make a quick buck.
A gang limit should also be implemented so that one gang cannot rule the server, that was simply how it was. The dominant gang, Mongols at the time of closing consisted of 30-40+ members which made it harder for new players and ultimately possibly why playercounts were lower than Altis. During Christmas time last year, Tanoa was booming and was full at peak times, just like all Altis servers.
I agree. Many gangs were dominant and that did take away from some of the fun. Otherwise, Tanoa was a great server to play on, and it gave you a break from the same old Altis map that we have all known for years. I personally enjoyed the combat aspect of Tanoa. Where the cartels were placed, and just the map overall to me gave a much better playing experience.

Many people such as me want Server 5 Tanoa to be brought back. Tanoa did better than Strife ever did and ever will do. Many of the arguments against Tanoa are invalid, such as that people who were not in a big gang did not enjoy the server. This is invalid due to the fact that many did not like it because they did not put the effort into learning other ways to make money. If you agree and want Server 5 Tanoa back, like and share this post. I would appreciate if @Bamf did not close this post so we can have a long discussion about the pros and cons of Tanoa. Make sure to comment how you feel and/or felt about Tanoa. I hope to see much support!

All that us Tanoa supporters are asking is for consoderation. We are not demanding to have Tanoa back, but simply consideration. We also simply want to have an open forum where we can discuss our thoughts and opinions about Tanoa without it being closed.

Many things, when I was in a smaller gang me and my buddies screwed around doing drug runs, bounty hunting, and exploring new and better ways to make money than just cartels. I loved how the server was not as chaotic as Altis, and for a smaller map like Tanoa, a smaller amount of people is perfect. There was a community that formed around Tanoa, and brought many of us closers together. Many of us miss that aspect as well.

Like Ling Ling, I too loved Tanoa. It is perfect for people who love asylum but don't want to keep playing on the same old Altis. Me, like many others had built a name and reputation for themselves on Tanoa. Strife is doing much worse that Tanoa ever did, and you don't even have to pay for the map Strife is on. Tanoa had many aspects that many, like me, loved. If you loved Tanoa, speak up. We will get no where without voices. Like this post and take a look at the poll. (this post is not to spam)
