I literally got 2 feet off the ground and it just started accelerating faster and faster towards trees i was like wait what... That's because default mouse controls in Arma are utterly stupid. Switch your mouse control to cyclic forward, cyclic back,cyclic left and cyclic right. Set W & S for collective raise and collective lower. Set A & D for pedal left and pedal right. A quick tip for taking off on uneven ground so you don't start sliding toward trees, or just taking off in general.
