My Basic PC Specs:

• CPU - i7-6700K
• RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200
• GPU - GTX 970
• HD - 2TB Samsung EVO SSD Drive
• Dual LG 34" UltraWide (2560 X 1080) Monitors 

I think the main component that helps with FPS is a nice Intel CPU.
