It was supposed to be a money sink. Didn't really turn out that way as everyone were completely reckless with their insured vehicles.

I think they should bring it back with some exceptions to big vehicles such as Ifrits, 50 cals and Orcas. Insure smaller vehicles that people use day to day baises like their trucks and sports hatchback. No matter where I leave my Hatchback it seems to always get chopped, everyone has lockpicks these days like wtf.

Insurance was a good idea that failed.

People used to request comp for vehicles they had insured. People also purposely blew up their Shit so it wouldn't be chopped or becouse there was no point storing it if you could just blow it up you know.

other servers have a perfect solution for this. there is a deductible for insurance. so yeah you can be reckless but it still going to be expensive just not as much as if it wasn't insured. and if you don't re-insure it after it gets destroyed then its gone for good.
