BLue
I'm going to be working towards a new cpu, i currently run amd 8core and nvidia 780, and usually see 20-30fps. depending on eviroment. 40+ in aslyum at all times would be the dream. What specs are you running and whats your fps pull? Link to comment
Diizzy
20-30 fps jesus.. how do you play Elegiggle Link to comment

KevinOB
amd doesnt do to hot with arma. But if you wanted to get a intel cpu you would have to get a different mobo aswell. :\ Link to comment
BLue
i intend on building from scratch, i wouldnt mind going the intel route any suggestion on what works well with it to pull high fps? Link to comment
BarryKaiden
I'm using an Intel Core I7 6700 and getting around 50 fps on ultra with Fraps running. [h=1]My PC: http://www.provantage.com/dell-x8900-4381blk~7DELD0EF.htm[/h] Link to comment
Gatorade
Intel core i5-4670k clocked at 3.5 ghz (quad core) , 12 gb of Ram Not exactly sure what its clocked at, and a gtx 760 4gb super overclocked. Normally I run at around 30 fps as well, however there are ALOT of things you can do to your game to optimize it for asylum. I currently after optimizing play on around 60-80 frames, 35-45 in heavy combat - talking like 10 smokes, CQB, Staring Dudes in the eyes combat.. The only time i stutter is in vehicles because you cant avoid the rendering speeds sometimes. Link to comment
Ronald
AMD 6300 - 15-25 fps depending on how long the server has been up and how many buildings/people are around (Not including open field no one around fps). I dip to around 7-8 fps when people throw smoke grenades at me so the trolling is pretty intense. Link to comment
Henry Facesmasher
amd's are terrible for arma Link to comment
Henry Facesmasher
I have a 4 or 5 year old intel cpu and I get around 30fps sometimes higher sometimes lower (big cities mainly) Link to comment
RAFAY
I play with 3-15 fps Link to comment

Serpico
I have a i5 4690k with GTX 780. At stock clock (3.5ghz) and streaming on very high I get 30 in kavala, everywhere else 40 - 60. Since I overclocked to 4.5ghz, I'm getting an almost constant 50fps Link to comment
ProjectGemini
i5 4690k (3.5Ghz) + R9 290x, get about 40fps on average, more or less depending on where I am. Link to comment
Zoex
I'm using an Intel Core I7 6700 and getting around 50 fps on ultra with Fraps running. My PC: http://www.provantage.com/dell-x8900...k~7DELD0EF.htm I wish I'd get 50' date=' I get 20-30 on my AMD PC and around 45 on my Nvidia 760+Intel I5 one of the 3*** models that can't come up to my mind in middle of no where. If you get 50 though, it means there is whole lot of FPS potential, Fraps takes whole lot of your FPS so you should stop using it, as well as a crazy amount of hard drive space with absolutely no reason. recommend to get OBS(streaming program that also makes you able to record) I use it for both and its amazing, check them out! [url']http://obsproject.com/ BLue , any of the currnet Intel i5/i7s should do the job, myself I'd go with an i7 6700k if I had to pick at the moment, it all depends on budget and reviews, google some stuff, here is a amazon link that classes the search to the i7 and 4Stars+ on amazon, good luck: http://goo.gl/6mRFch Link to comment
Gubber Flexx
the new i7-6700k intel cpu is great went from a AMD cpu to that and now i run 40 - 60 fps at all times Link to comment
BarryKaiden
is it strictly the I7 thats making it pull that fps? Most likely, Arma 3 is very CPU intensive. Link to comment
Big Boss
i7 5930k w/ windforce 980 ti , 50-60 fps everywhere i go. Link to comment
