If the map is not free to everyone it will be a huge obstacle in Asylum actually hosting the map

Kavala trolls will buy wetsuits and camp boat spawn or run around your helicopter waiting for it to unlock and fly away into the sunset.

That's true.. Or Asylum would be able to, but the players would get an annoying "BUY DLC" Message every bloody 10 seconds like the current one

It does look like they want to present it the same way as Operation Arrowhead if thats the case the map will not be free but judging by ARMA 2, people will eventually all move to the expansion so there is hope.
