We definitely need more prestige perks. But they certainly should only be quality of life improvements.

If the "Taser" P07 took 1 shot to down then yea. But then you'd need some policy saying officers must use tasers on unarmed or nonviolent civilians.

I've been sitting on 2 houses full of meth ingredients for over 6 months. I used to do meth runs out of those houses all the time whether I needed the money or not.

Sa-Matra is very strict about the distribution of his missions. Server owners do not have access to the mission files and thus can't add mods or modify it in any way.

That would be really cool especially considering the rumor that the map will be Australia and very large.

+1 If we keep our money then you can just go and experience everything there in on the new map in a few days or so. Starting fresh keeps the experience novel for much longer. Imagine the first fed/cartel your gang does after just earning enough money to buy a rebel license and m4. Thats an experience you wont get if you just hop on, money capped, and buy the best guns, the best vehicles, immediately do all the cartels, all the cop fights, etc., etc... Money would matter again, gear would have value, fights would be more tense... for a time that at least. It has never been hard or "a grind" to make money on Aslyum. I doubt this server will be any different. Once you get a decent stockpile things will be back to normal in a relatively short amount of time. But the beginning would be a new experience and thats what this server should be. Not the same old thing on a new terrain with new guns.

From my understanding the mods need to have been updated recently to work with the new launcher. That is, I couldn't get any older mods to work with the new launcher. The ones that did work were the CUP(Community Update Project) which had been updated earlier this month. Which led me to believe they need to be updated in order to work with the launcher.

I doubt it. Even though you can download it through steam you still have to install the TS plugin manually which is too much for the average Asylum player. We will likely only see mods that can be downloaded and installed automatically.

In order to keep the APD to the utmost standard we must select only the best of applicants. Maybe one day you will be good enough to join the prestigious institution of the APD.
