  1. Bounty Hunters are the worst thing that ever happened to Altis Life.
  2. While perma-death games are fun. Altis Life is not the platform. I highly discourage anyone from doing this.
  3. You see how not turning sirens on while in pursuit very advantageous to the police, don't you?
  4. Bounty Hunters often use the MX assault rifle (or some MX series variant not sure which exactly) to down their targets. How many bullets does it take to "down" a player with an MX "taser"? How do tasers react when striking a player wearing armor? How do tasers react when striking a wall or car? Do(Does) the script(s) that create tasers alter the performance of the bullet or do they retain all the properties of a regular bullet being fired from an MX assault rifle?
  5. Do any of the following talents, "Delivery Man", "Precious Cargo", or "Delivery Pilot" improve the money one receives for successfully completing drug running flights?
  6. For frequent flyers! Required Licences: None Plane: A plane will be provided for you by the drug runner. Specifically, you will be flying a Caesar BTT. You can read more about this specific plane here. http://armedassault.wikia.com/wiki/Caesar_BTT Equipment: General Store/Gear Store: Toolkit $60 Clothing Store: Any Backpack ??? (to hold the Toolkit) ATM: $15,000 Talents: None Where: Go to any one of the drug runner icons on the map. See this screenshot to see where the drug runners are located, circled in purple. http://imgur.com/GjQ2NWp How: It's pretty straightforward. The drug runner provides you with the aircraft, and you must land at two airports within a certain amount of time. The first stop is to pick up the drugs, the second is to drop them off. Then you are given your money, in cash. The catch? If you crash or don't land in time the drug runner will keep your 15k. Other than that, you're all set. Notes: The first thing you will notice when you get inside is that your plane's hull is damaged, and you only have half a tank of fuel. Don't worry about the damage the plane will fly and top out at around 400km/hr which is more than enough for our purposes and you will always have enough fuel to complete the run, just take my word for it. Don't waste time repairing/refueling. It's a smart idea to carry a toolkit with you in case you crash land. Repairing a Caesar BTT isn't exactly quick, and you are on the clock at all times. In case you botch a landing, a toolkit will be your only option to bail you out. It's important to note that you must land the Caesar BTT within 50m of the drug runner in order to load the plane with drugs and drop the drugs off. If you land the plane on the other side of the airfield and run to the drug runner, it's not going to work. You must taxi your plane to within 50m. Closing: Everyone will want to know how much money you get and how long this process takes. To put it simply, you should complete your runs in under 10min, Personally, the highest amount I have ever received was $27,000 and the lowest was around $8,000.
  7. If you read that guide you would see why I created this one. While there is some overlapping information between the two, I provide informatino that the wiki does not. Additionally, the wiki contains incorrect prices and is lacking pictures where they should be. Thank you for posting though, an especially good resource from the wiki is the chart that explains the chance to excavate each item.
  8. For Aspiring Treasure Hunters! Required Licences: Boating Diving Boat: Purchase a Motorboat. See this screenshot for detailed information about the motorboat. http://imgur.com/a/mIqsa Equipment: Market: Wreck Excavator $360 Clothing Store: Carryall Backpack $250 Diving Shop: Wetsuit $200, Rebreather $500, Diving Goggles $50 Boat Garage: Motorboat $450 Talents: Excavator, Faster Gathering when excavating shipwrecks. Where: Go to one of the shipwreck icons on the map. See this screenshot for some examples of shipwreck icons, circled in purple. http://imgur.com/a/rJ9D3 How: Get out of your boat, swim down about 30m, press y, select inventory, select your wreck excavator, then select use. Now don't move. At the start, you may get a message basically telling you that your action was cancelled due to movement, but don't worry it wasn't. Now you should be seeing a message in the middle of your screen saying you have collected some treasure from the wreck every couple of seconds. This process will take about 3m 15s(with the talent). When your inventory is full, you will see a message in the middle of your screen saying excavation aborted due to movement. When this happens, it's time to swim up and deposit your inventory into your boats trunk. Now, repeat until your trunk and backpack is full. Sell your oil to the commodities trader, sell your cocaine to the drug dealer, and sell everything else to the jewelry store. Notes: You get a lot of lockpicks and zipties as you excavate. It's worth dropping them once you get back to your boat in order to make room for more valuable loot. You can not excavate with a SVD. Unless you don't plan on dropping any of the lockpicks or zipties you gather. A tip passed on to me was to bring along a change of clothes. Robbers tend to target excavators wearing wetsuits. If you feel you need a bit more protection, consider picking up an SDAR. Just beware of its shortcomings. http://armedassault.wikia.com/wiki/SDAR Closing: Everyone will want to know how much money you get and how long this process takes. There are many variables involved in trying to calculate how long a single run may take, so I won't comment on that. I will say that a given run could give you $30,000+. This is really determined by the current prices of cocaine, oil, and how many flawless diamonds you get, and how strict you are about throwing out lockpicks and zipties.
  9. Thanks, I agree with what you said at first as well, rp definitely seems to have taken a back seat in altis life. Look forward to catching you in game. I am usually on server #3. Oh, got it.
  10. It shouldn't, what device are you watching from? New to asylum, what is different about this specific area of the map? Seems like a stretch. I don't believe I should have been killed in this scenario. I also believe if I reported the player staff would agree. I believe the name was "Thug Temper" you can see the tag around 35seconds.
  11. Link to video I reference during my post: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/144161401 Hello everyone! Sorry my first post is kind of a bummer. Quite often, I experience low quality interactions with other players on the server, such as the one in this video. My simple question to the community is, what could be done to improve pvp interactions on the server?
