  1. I might honestly just wipe again and try from the start.

Turns out I have a bunch of corrupted DLLs from .NET Framework and within System32.

I'll try repairing the files from my Windows installation USB or just start all over.

EDIT: Fixed the issue by upgrading my Windows 10 version to the new Fall Creators Update. However, now I cannot connect at all to Wi-Fi because my network adapter's drivers aren't compatible with the new Windows version.

The Bohemia_Interactive folder is the local part of your app data, not the roaming, it should be here.

    C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Bohemia_Interactive

The only folders in AppData --> Local are "Arma 3" and "Arma 3 Launcher."

Go to Bohemia_Interactive in AppData (or just search in your PC Bohemia_Interactive) and drag out any folder beginning with 'arma3launcher.exe_Url' to your desktop. Then try to run it. If it works, delete the folder you just pulled out to desktop and enjoy :)

Found some people with the same problem and this worked. Worth a try.^

The folders do not exist in any of the AppData folders, even if you display Hidden files and folders.

Can you try and see if you can see such "Bohemia Interactive" folders in AppData?

  4. I just wiped my PC because I was having issues when logging in and having my desktop disappear and flash constantly.

Now that I have re-installed Windows 10 Pro and Arma 3, I am unable to launch Arma 3 from Steam. I can launch Arma3_x64.exe from the installation directory, but I cannot open the Arma 3 Launcher. If I try to open it, it will not open at all and will act as if I never opened it. If I try to open Arma 3 from Steam, it will act in a similar way; it will say "Running" and then it will say "Syncing" and close. Nothing ever pops up.

Has anyone else had this issue? How do you fix it? I've tried most of the launcher troubleshooting from here: https://arma3.com/launcher/troubleshooting and have not yet come to a solution.

    I would appreciate any help.

  5. If they don't get reported, then there will be more rulebreakers. This will then lead to people who quit, and they will then blame the admins for not taking care of these rulebreakers.

Rulebreakers need to be reported to preserve the preexisting population. What I'm understanding from your message is that we should not bother to report rulebreakers and instead let them ruin the population. Rulebreakers have no good intentions anyway; report them.

If the people really are newcomers, it is understood that they are not familiar with the rules. They're given lesser punishment if reported and will, most of the time, come back as a better player.

What was the logic behind your post?

I honestly didn't even read the OP. Sorry if you feel so hurt from me calling you a kneepadder, seems like it really hit home, didn't it?

I don't care what you call me or what you think of me; what really bothers me is when others like to jump to insults instead of contributing.

I'm no longer going to argue with you or anyone else in this thread. It's pointless.

    great use of your time

Oh, sorry for trying to contribute to a discussion by stating my own personal opinion. Of course, now you're here to call me a kneepadder. How mature. Why do you have to go off on a tangent to insult me instead of actually contributing to the discussion? Great use of your time.

Some people like to create a negative image of certain precincts and people just because of a single person they did not get along with... it seems like every time that happens it's always the person making the negative image who's at fault.

The p4 higher ups are  probably  the worst higher ups out of all the precincts I  honestly think no one other then the navi players would give a shit if the server got  shut down

P4 higher-ups are very active and great to play with. What's the problem?

  10. VAC comes with audio repeaters that are separate programs. You need to search these up on your computer. They install alongside VAC automatically.

Search "MME" on your PC. You should see something like "MME Audio Repeater". Open this program three times.

In the first window of MME you opened, for the top dropdown select your Speakers. For the next dropdown, select Line 1.

In the second window of MME you opened, for the top dropdown select Line 1. For the next dropdown, select Line 2.

In the third window of MME, for the top dropdown select your microphone input. For the next dropdown, select Line 1.

After all the dropdowns have been filled and selected, click "Start" on all three audio repeaters.

Now, your speakers and microphone outputs will go straight into Line 2. So, you are essentially combining the two.

Note: If you cannot find Line 1 and/or 2, go to your Audio Mixer and make sure these are enabled and that Line 2 is set as your default device under "Recording" so you may use it in games and override your actual microphone. If you are using foobar2000 to play music through the microphone, make sure you select the output as Line 2.

Let me know if you have any questions. I typed this on my phone and did it from memory, so some information may be off.
