Normally people can't, only admins can and then you'll still be able to keep the gear if you get revived. If it happend to you just report the bug and paratus/bamf will probably try to fix it.

Could do this but not needed unless you are switching from nvidia to AMD or AMD to nvidia. When you go to geforce experience and download the latest drivers it completely uninstalls all the drivers and re-install it again afterwards.

Fixed that for you

First see if there's any new drivers on geforce experience. If there is download it and see if it's still going on. If you have the latest drivers uninstal it by going in to "add or remove programs" and go back to geforce experience and download th the latest drivers again. Had issues with drivers getting fucked up after game crashes and all i needed to do was uninstal and re-install.
