You make some valid points in the OP, but as I've said many times all over the place, the situation with CSAT rewards is not working as intended. I would never, ever introduce a paid feature which would give advantage. I have not done that in the past years and I'm not going to start. What you have now is a broken and unintended implementation which will be fixed tomorrow when I'm in the office. Communication is a big one and something we're working on, but I do think it's improving. We've made a lot of alterations based on feedback but some things won't make it in if it conflicts with our design.

No, twice we were flagged over a miscommunication, not for actual breaking off rules. The market isn't for Asylum, it's for a way to get back from keys that didn't go your way and you're getting those from other players.

You're right, they're priced appropriately given their armor, but the system is not working fully as intended now and will be fixed with a hotfix tomorrow. Given the focus of Asylum for almost 2 years now I would hope you guys would see I'm not going to implement p2w features.

The market systems' not ready yet, and will be my current focus! You'll have it pretty soon, but it's a big complex system when you're dealing with real money for other people.

There is literally no better DDos protection available than that which we have already. People just don't realize the volume of DDoS we have to put up with. We can get over 30 attacks in a single day, and haven't gone a day without one in years. The fact you're able to play at all is almost amazing given what hits us.

There are no real advantages to be had. The system exists for cosmetics. The helmets all have the same armor value as other helmets any civilian can get already, and there's even another for civilians with Apex's release (skate helmet). As we've said a dozen times now, you won't be able to wear the heaviest vest with CSAT clothing, which will bring armor levels in sync. We've done testing in this to ensure it's fair.

If you haven't relogged since the fix I posted about previously, your rewards were not added to your account because your keys were not consumed. That's sort of a double-edged sword. You didn't get the reward, but you didn't lose a key either. If this happened to you (we can see who had the issue) and you got an item you really wanted, PM me and I can compensate you that reward if you got a screenshot.

If you've purchased keys and had issues with not getting items you won, or not being able to buy things you won, relog and your keys will come back. It's been fixed.

It's not done to profit, it's done to at least bring in enough money to run the servers. Since Bohemia's rules I've been keeping our servers up out of my own pocket, and we're talking well over a thousand dollars each month. So, yeah, we have to get creative in ways to pay the bills! Now, THAT SAID, the CSAT clothes are expensive to purchase after you've unlocked them, and you're not supposed to be able to wear the carrier lites with them. May need to check that if it's not applying.

I very much agree, but because of the changes they force upon us we have to introduce a system like this. We'll keep it fair!

Is this happening on all servers, not just Asylum ones?

RDM is a serious matter for us, but when you have 5 large servers it's quite difficult to monitor it constantly. This is why we rely on reports unless one of us happens to be there.

Yep, the only reason they haven't yet is that it's quite a pain to customize anything DLC related. Bohemia decided it was a good idea to encrypt all DLC content so that you can't read the textures out of it like regular content, making it hard to get the texture "UV" for drawing new textures.

This patch will be going out on Tanoa now, as the only thing it has for Altis is the fog fix which will become present in the next Altis update (should be soon). 7.2.1 Added treasure hunting! Treasure maps can be found while mining, fishing and wreck excavating. They're incredibly rare and valuable. If you have a treasure map, buy a shovel from the market to dig where X marks the spot. Added the ERCO and a bunch of other scope variants to several weapon shops. Fixed the weapon sale prices at Tanoa turf shops. Added a fix that should keep the fog at proper levels. The market will now properly reduce pure cocaine and new alcohol items. Hotfix 1: Fixed a bug in the damage handler related to APD weapons Cops can no longer pick Coca leaves on Tanoa Houses with garages on Tanoa should function as a garage now Treasure maps should be slightly harder to find now Tons of boat spawns added to Tanoa Wong's has moved on Tanoa. There are two new locations that it will spawn between (they are close to each other). We are looking for feedback on both spots please. Hotfix Ifrits can no longer be crafted on Tanoa. Bounty hunters will no longer contribute to their gang's control point captures. Pure cocaine can now be sold to drug dealers. Fixed a bug that would prevent face selections from being seen by other players.
