1. That is its sole purpose.
2. Gang Talents / Convince Paratus to invest the time.
3. Fed > Bank > Gas Stations.
4. Already answered this to the effect of "likely not going to happen".
5. There are more than enough KOS events between Cops and Rebels right now. Maybe try some of those Prison Break things.
6. Already exists
7. Meh, maybe.
8. Cops just play the bank 100% wrong. Easy to win the bank, cops just try to get all the people too.
10. It's the way it is for a reason, and it's not likely to change.
- Why not add more content for players to make money and have an interesting/different experience. Add more of a wasteland feel to the server, make it more unique in the things that you can do. More of a risk than just picking Heroin with big gangs coming down there to fight arms. And with the addition of fighting Arms, you have big gangs coming down there to make money besides the cartel. That produces bigger and more fights between rebels which in turn, gives us more things to do/fight.
- Sure.
- Okay? Do you know the payout of the bank? Or an estimate? Because I'd like to know if they're worth a 30k loadout to do. Risk/Reward.
- I don't see a reason not to besides "Paratus doesn't like it"?
- Prison break, bank, illegal zones, fed? What's the point in not adding content? Too lazy? We've said before that content was getting stale, so how do y'all intend to fix that?
- Cool beans.
- Cool beans x 2.
- Maybe, how long does it take to complete a bank? 10 minutes or 15 minutes? My main problem (Opinion) is that construction is way to OP to be where it is. Put three guys in there and you can't get a central shot on them due to the positioning of the building and First ATM. Maybe I haven't done the bank enough.
- Skipped number nine.
- May I know the reason?

what mc server is this???

Howdy folks, I have a few ideas brewing that might improve the server, some may be original, some you may have heard before, but I'd like to include them anyway. So here it goes:
- The free fire zone of Altis has only one purpose as of right now, and it's Arms Dealer. I think you should add something down there, maybe something highly illegal and profitable down there. It'd be an interesting change of pace to make money down there. It might be too out of the way, but it could work.
- Add a rebel skill tree like BH called "Dishonorable" or something of the sorts.
- Increase bank payouts, I don't know if they're high already, but banks are very rare. Maybe add more incentive to do them? I can only play on one server at once and at certain times, so I don't know if they happen often or not, but from what I've seen as a cop and rebel, they don't happen often.
- Put the prison back to Pyrgos prison. With the server aging, replayability has decreased significantly. Moving the prison and making it obsolete (Not purposely obviously) had an extreme increase of stale gameplay for Rebels. There isn't much to do now but fight other dying or small gangs. The other prison was very user-friendly as it should be, half the people don't know how to do the new one. If it ain't broke don't fix it. It was also very fun from the experiences I had fighting it and trying to arrest people doing it. It had a very interesting setting too, an island with one way in and one way out. Now it's in the damn salt flats. The most boring area in the entire game.
- Make more ways Rebels can fight cops. Maybe an evidence storage area where our illegal weapons and drugs go after cops seize it. Anything really. I've found it more satisfying to kill cops than fight other gangs, and there should be more emphasis on that dynamic in my personal opinion.
- Make a way people can send texts to players rather than using the phone (Ex. /msg (name) "message").
- Owning drug cartel gives higher drug runner payouts.
- Adjust bank side for cops, from my constable POV it feels like we're just flies being swatted down until a higher up pulls armor out.
- General store in Skiptracer.
- Blood bags at Rebel general and remove medical assistance. Balances it out by adding and removing, and keeping the hospital stores still relevant with med assist and defibs and all that.
Those are all of suggestions I could brainstorm, please feel free to criticize constructively or call me retarded, but I will try and rebuttal unless I'm proven to be a 100% retard.
Please take into consideration developers! @bamf

I understand he does not like Pyrgos prison, but is it not about what the community wants?
he does not play as said, he Is busy with Identity and making that $$, The community would like Pyrgos prison back, it would improve game play for civ and cop again.he has no interest in asylum anymore anyway, not from what I can see, I can't see why it can't be changed.
Shit we posted the same thing +1

Paratus extremely dislikes Pyrgos Prison. I wouldn't hold my breath.
I understand it's his server, but shouldn't what we like be more important that what he likes? (He doesn't even play on the servers) The statement of what we like is more important is partially true, because a lot of people want the old asylum updates back but that's retarded, but the Pyrgos prison has an overwhelming amount of support behind it and a lot of evidence to show that it was better than the new one.

The reason why not a lot of civs rp with cops is because 90% of the time you get stuck with some brain dead cadet or money hungry constable that will offer you a full ticket no matter how long or good your rp was.
Most of the cadets don't want to get in trouble or do anything to risky, that's most likely why they do that. A cadet yelled at me, a constable, for pardoning someone with a fairly large bounty, but his story made me laugh and when the cadet said he was going to give him a nearly full ticket, I was shocked. So there are some money hungry schmoops in the apd, but a lot of us arent!

Seems normal?

Play civilian for quite a bit and then join APD for RP. That's where you can get it, but not a lot of civilians actually roleplay.

+1 Sounds like a wonderful marketing idea. In a grocery store, people look at the middle shelf, and companies pay more to have their product placed dead middle. Maybe these companies can pay more/less for the positioning of their advertisment. Just a suggestion to make some extra dank in the bank.

@bamf I made these points why Tanoa was lacking on a different post a while ago, some of the points I made are probably still valid. Hope they are helpful.
Tanoa - Stratis - Altis ; Two out of three maps have/had a lower population, two out of the three maps were released after Altis. Altis is the main focus of Asylum, and it's what players are used to. People have a system, or an order in which they do things. For me, I used to do Heroin only for making money, and I had an entire system for it and I was used to it. When Tanoa was released I was so incredibly hyped, but when I got into it, I just said to myself, "I'm losing more money than I would be on Altis", and this is because I knew what I was doing. This also goes for cartels and turfs, people know callouts, layouts, camping locations, sniping locations, etc. They just want to stick to what they're good at and what they're used to, and I believe this is the reason for the low population. However, a low population is not a bad thing in the slightest. It is if you're rocking 1-20 players, but this is not the case, I've seen 60-110 players on the server, and I've also seen around 24 in a low time frame, but sometimes the Altis servers fall this low as well. Server four was rocking thirty or so compared to Tanoa's twenty-four. As I was saying, low population is good for Tanoa, as it is a smaller map and it is more chill like that. Tanoa is an escape for me to have fun rather than grind on Altis, on Tanoa there are no douchebag gang members who walk up to you and say the classic "hands up or die" and shoot you just to get that bounty. Atleast I haven't encountered any yet. I like to try new things, and I think that's why I go on Tanoa, but as I said, I play for fun, others like to fight gangs and play seriously, which is where Tanoa lacks. As the main gangs tend to stay with what they're used to and not stray away from that. Another thing bogging it down is the paid part of it. Altis comes with the game, and Tanoa does not. With all these factors I do not believe you can compare the Altis population to the Tanoa population because they are two separate cases, and in which Tanoa has the disadvantage, but is still able to travel behind the big servers, which is pretty impressive in my opinion.

So if any staff read this, and hopefully this thread is just a big rumor (which it is most likely), but please do not shut down Tanoa, as it as two different target markets.

Alright. I want it gone because I believe it's dampening the experience of others and myself, as a lot of the civilians agreed with me. But simply put, it's biased for both of us, so lets not continue.

Whats being violated? A normal cop and respond back to a drug field as well. Per your example that's not even what happen, you're literally complaining about them knowing the next step in the process and catching you there. Sounds like sound police work. Don't expect a free drug run just because you shot a cop along the way.
I believe you misunderstood what I said, I clearly said it applies for civilians.
Nothing. I just think Undercover is not being used the way it's supposed to, and you all said in fact that it was. Your cover is constantly blown by civilians and some officers don't even try because they dress around in full military gear. What's the point of it? If they're just going to be cops who dress differently and have no rules, then it's obsolete and broken.

Just now, Dredd said:
Read up. You clearly stated: "Its just an excuse in my opinion to do these things that normal officers can't because they have the privledge of a different slot that they're not playing correctly."
Yet, they are playing correctly - just not in your mind.
Seems to me that you want it modified, removed, or fixed (it's not broken btw) because you lost. I can assure you that it doesn't happen that way all of the time.
UC's don't constantly camp illegal areas, they are allowed to go there whenever they want based on activity in the area but are routinely watched for abusing that freedom.
That UC pushed you at processing. He didn't have to - he could have called for backup. Yesterday we rolled in 8 cops from UC observe and report tactics. My point? You would have been arrested anyways. NLR wouldn't have stopped him from calling it in.
What then? They shouldn't be allowed to use a radio because it's too hard to conceal?
With that argument, I could say they aren't player correctly, just not in your mind. You also seem to think that I want them removed because I lost? I didn't lose, I gained. I just believe they aren't performing as they weren't meant and are playing a completely different role than "Undercover officers". Which if you can say and argue otherwise, I'll be amazed. Because they clearly cannot blend in due to the restrictions and OOC things players can do otherwise. And it's not being arrested is the problem, I'm not an angry person when it comes to dealing with cops. I would've said I was using the Heroin as a secret ingredient to my ratatouille. That UC followed exactly what I wanted them to be, scouts. NLR has nothing to do with the radio and he had all right to call in backup. I gave you my story not to rant, but for you all to get a perspective from a civilian point-of-view.
-
Just now, HotWings said:
They do apply evenly, you want it to be ok for you to come back and kill people after you die, but NOT ok for cops to be able to come back... You dont get to give one faction a NLR and not give the other a NLR. All things should be applied equally.
UC cant actually fake picking up items
For the first, you act like we all have guns, we don't, you do. If we even wanted to come back it would take us 20+ minutes. And what situations would we be in this scenario? Bank robberies? We get arrested and we go to jail. The only time this would apply is for bank robberies or other civilians.
Allow me to give you another example since you can't follow the one I gave: Cops can go to redzones every 20 minutes (Which is being violated by the UC) and civilians can go there whenever the fuck they want.
Another thing, if you're worried about the pistol bangers coming back and killing you, then I don't know what to tell you.

But its acceptable for civs to come back as much as they want? You make 0 sense "bud"
It's acceptable for civilians to pick drugs and officers can't?

They're two separate factions with two different rule sets. That argument doesn't even apply.
Few things to improve the server!
