  1. The title is correct, the server is not DYING, it DIED a long time ago. The server died when the admins started banning people because of personal issues, salt ect. When I started playing asylum we would have to spam in almost every single day of the week, now you're lucky to break 50 players. It needs new staff, "Management" that actually listens to the community and doesn't do things like ban people out of spite or personal issues with players on the server.
  2. People seriously upload anything to the forums now, good thing you did more stupid stuff than him in this clip.
  3. I think we should make Cartels green zones too. I am so tired of going there with $30,000 load outs and getting killed. Think about it, this is what we need to bring back gang life.
  4. Why is this dude a cadet? A promotion to Training Officer would be beneficial to the APD as a whole. Congrats mothafucka, you've been promoted.
  5. Not long ago, month or two maybe, I was permed over a year. No idea who you are though lol..
  6. Its hilarious because everyone knew this was coming. The Community bitched because we didn't have gang activity or banks, the servers gang population is slowing growing and banks are happening pretty frequently now (compared to how they were) and guess what (some members of..) the community (are) is doing? The problem doesn't lie within the server but the APD itself, with more organization the APD might actually stand a chance. Notice when relevant higher ups are on the bank/prison/fed success rate reflects?
  7. Congrats Clock! Can't wait to get some Mk-1's from you!
  8. I'm sure he wont keep you waiting, in fact we may get to see montage number 13 by the end of the night.
  9. Will he continue his previous ways of cop? Stay tuned and find out.
  10. Exact same thing happens on Olympus. probably don't want to copy, maybe waiting for an original method. Regardless something should be done, something with compensation for the bounty. On Olympus you can send them to jail, but you don't get the $ for their bounty, just the peace of mind knowing they get to log back on to an hour in jail.
  11. Gang Roster Leaders: The Lennie @LennieTheLegend Challenger @Challenger Members: Coming Soon* Trials not listed.
  12. Impulse Impulse is a gang being put together to reunite some old friends and create some new ones. We are a gang out looking to have fun fighting cartels, doing federal events and just doing whatever it may be that ends up entertaining us for the night. This thread is subject to change. Gang Requirements: 1000+ Hours ~Age 16 and above (Mature) Knowledge of cartels Financially Stable Application Format: In-game name: Age: NA/EU?: Arma 3 hours (must include screen shot): Any members that could vouch for you: Previous gangs: Why do you want to join Impulse?:
  13. I say no, if you want extra armor it should come at the cost of camouflage.
  14. That is exactly what I had in mind! And it could go a step further if it ever happened where Constables/Cadets could volunteer to be on guard duty. Watching the prisoners to ensure they are working and not trying to break out ect. Maybe a fenced in area around the peach field would remove the need for guards and reduce the risk of exploiting. It would also keep other civs from exploiting the prisoners out of the field. But I think the role-play would end up being very humorous and would make a great alternative to letting someone out easy on parole.
  15. Combat logging does ruin game-play. but not to the extent of requiring admin attention for every combat log. I could be wrong, but I am sure the admins have better things to do than talk with 150 combat loggers in teamspeak. Maybe something should be done to eliminate the problem, but it doesn't need to require admin time.
  16. I am unsure how this system could be abused any more the parole has been in the past. In-fact, if anything rebels wouldn't want their cop friends to give them community server over the obviously more convenient parole option. Let's be very realistic, if a cop was going to give his friend anything, it would be parole. No ticket and no jail time. Community service would be inconvenient, picking peaches for 25 minutes sure doesn't sound like a better option than parole to me.
  17. realistically I do not see it ever being incorporated into the server. The purpose of this post was to get people's heads moving a little, there are plenty of opportunities I see it being used, but as someone said, right now the main focus should be to establish servers that are running smooth before considering additional forums of punishment for in-game crimes haha. But in regards to you wanting to know where it fits in, there are a few obvious scenarios. For example, now that we can see criminal history we can use a suspects past charges, maybe if they are repeat offenders but are cooperative we could issue them Community Service over the much easier Parole option. Maybe people are just being jerks over a minor traffic ticket, you can make them do short term community service to prove a point. There are some other scenarios this option will fit in, but I think those two will open up your vision into the rest.
  18. I think it would be an interesting addition to the current options presented to officers. Community Service would be something like or similar to - Picking peaches for the altis food bank, picking up garbage (Cases) of the side of the road, or some other form of service the Altis community requires. I think this addition would lead to some hilarious role-play and would allow for a shorter term sentence with the penalty of not being able to AFK the shorter term. Example, you are told you will be sent to jail for the max term, instead of sitting in jail for almost an hour you can pick peaches for the altis food bank for 20 minutes and once you've met your quota ( realistic # of peaches / minute to insure no afk'ing) you are sent free and forgiven by the altis gov't. Community service would only be able to be given to someone who deserves it, (non-evasive and non-aggressive) of course.
