Jury corruption could do this, the system in my opinion needs a revamp. Hardly any trials go through as not guilty no matter how much I have seen people try. Bountyhunter gangs specifically enter trails with the intent of voting guilty, the trial system should allow players a second chance to RP their charges and not waste 45 minutes of their day because of some angry bounty hunters.

This here sir is what normal people call corruption and is intended.

I don't think the intentions of trials were to sentence somebody to 45 minutes just because they made other players salty. Just as cops are intended to process players like normal even if they are salty over a recent loss. 

I know personally due to my gang tag enemy gangs will always go to my trial specifically to escort me and throw me in the water. If anything no name should be displayed on the trial making it difficult to determine whose trial you are attending.

I do believe this is the original idea of the jury, to allow someone to roleplay their charges a second time but also allow the jury to be a bunch of corrupt idiots. Live with it or find a new server, that's all i can say.

Or... How about the system could be altered to give every player a fair shot. That kind of behavior is sad, going out of your way to waste 45 minutes of somebody's day just because they made you a bit upset. Seriously, grow up. 

You play a game to have fun and socialise with new people. Nobody gets on Asylum with the intention of being harassed by a group of players. You must be mad if you think the intention of jury was to allow an enemy gang to come in and scream in your ear and dump you underwater so you die and your time resets. You must play a lot of cop if you think that isn't a thing that happens, if you need proof PM me; I've got plenty of videos.

Dude, if you're gonne go for jury, wait until your friends can be at a courthouse and accept it, otherwise do something else while u sit in jail. Nobody's stupid to ask for trial when your enemy is on the server and you have no friends

You had a fair shot to not go to jail before you committed all those crimes lol.  People dont have to believe the RP sorry

I would like for you to read the full discussion before making an ignorant response. Never once did I say "When you go to trial you should be let out if you RP". The literal first line of that post is "How about the system could be altered to give every player a fair shot." I want a system that allows for a player to try and RP instead of just being thrown underwater. (I'm going to ignore the fact that you suggest not getting charges as a solution)

As I said in the other post, if you would like to argue further feel free to PM me. I have no interest in cluttering up another thread.

I wish they would fix the glitch of going outside the jury area, that way some assholes can't drop you in the water.

You're right.  The system that's in place (that automatically gives you innocent votes) and requires you to give a good story is bad.

I love getting a blindfold put on so I can wait my time out in darkness. I would suggest you to not get bountyhunted (what I was initially talking about) or robocopped, but then I realized all cops are perfect and toxic players don't exist. Everybody gives you a fair shot at trials to RP; why would anybody specifically vote you guilty no matter how good your RP was? Silly me.
