OBS gives me about a 20fps hit. I've been using it for about a year, and as of recent its been destroying my frames so I had to stop using it.

I found if you use a decent bit rate, it uses too much cpu, atleast in my case.

Personally I use Plays.TV

Can manually record non-stop, or be set up to work like shadow play, and save the last 1-10m of gameplay. No notable FPS loss even at good bitrates.

AMD's system of plays/rapt gives my arma aids. has been the cause of a couple BSODs

I use the stand alone Plays.tv, never had a BSOD. Only game crash, which happens for me sometimes regardless of if I have it running or not.

Using Nvidia codec I lose very little
