Roland had a great thing going.. and then disappeared.. did he take his millions and flee? Anyone seen him or SCC around lately?

Think of all the resources in that one area, the gear, the vehicles, the players.. Could that have anything to do with it? I mean if 10 people show up fully kitted, full mags, nades, RPG's Sui vests, on top of y inventory, then cops show up with cars and gear, then die repeatedly and show up with more cars.. that's A LOT of resources in one small area.. could this have anything to do with it?

I think the biggest reason it happens during a bank, is all of the people showing up.. It seems when you're in a town or VERY populated area (Pyrgos during bank) and you have half the server show up to that one location, is when it can't catch up.

After talking with BAMF (by complete happenchance) and getting a few more details about the server from other sources, this appears now to be a scripting issue and/or BE issue. We talked a bit and with the other source, the servers don't really have much of an issue keeping up with the game.. so it's something else internally.. I still don't think BE can cause THAT much lag.. so I know ponder if the scripts have anything to do with it.

Make sure you have the most up to date drivers on your computer for the network card. If that doesn't work and it's built in to the mobo, try an external networking card if you have the space. Looks like you are wireless, if there is an option that you can move the computer closer to the router to plug in and test, i would do that. You might have interference around your computer that causes the wifi to have issues, if you're connecting via 2.4ghz on wifi, make sure you don't have any cordless phones near or between you and the routher, if you have the option to go 5, if you have a cordless, make sure it doesn't use this frequency as that will cause issues as well.

Was there too as a cop, it was chaos, everyone was shooting everyone, RDM happened a lot.. on top of new spawns in pyrgos getting charged with bank robbery just for being at the gas station. They cried a lot stating they were not there and we needed to pardon. Admin going to be busy until that gets fixed.

Looking around, it appears a lot of the BE kicks for client not responding are obviously the server and the end users PC disconnecting. Has anyone thought about checking with the server host? Reason being, the game can run perfect on the server.. but if the connection to the user sucks.. it will kick the user.. That all being said, has anyone asked the provider if they are seeing any network issues that might be the cause? Maybe the provider doesn't realize there is server degradation on the device itself or their is network degradation that cause the kicks and then it recovers..slightly...

Must know how to combat log and hope you're not being recorded.

FWIW - you will always get a ticket before jail. Jail is the last option. But if you refuse one ticket, the officer can send you to jail. You can always try to talk your way down though.. a good story is always better than It was self defense.

I'm not saying they are not happening. I'm just saying I personally haven't experienced them, that I am only experiencing the lag. They are definitely down on kicks though.. and most of the client not responding kicks, CAN be due to lag on the server not finding the connection to the users machine.

HA - 3 is not better than 4, they are both on the same cluster, as 1 and 2 are (from what we've been told) so it runs better because 3 and 4 are now splitting the load.

It honestly sounds like they need a new server host, or they need to add more mem and/or processing power to the servers. Nine times out of ten, that fixes all server issues.. throw more resources at it..

Gotta spend money to make money.

This last week I haven't experienced ANY BE kicks.. just laggy servers that then shut down or get restarted. Do more resources need to be given to the servers? More mem maybe? Is the scripting part of it? I know when we had a bank hit, the server took a shit.. no one could do anything.. as soon as bank was up, server was ish fine again until a restart fixed it. Is there a memory leak causing issues? Has anyone contacted the hosting provider to see if the servers can be upgraded?
