Thanks for the clarification. Ken (the admin) told me there was a recent update to the rules that said the opposite. I was in the house and he pulled a 50 cal to knock my house down and I shot him out of it. He said that shooting a house with a 50 no longer constitutes initiation and that I technically RDMed him. Not trying to start a conflict, it just didnt sound right to me and wanted clarification. Thanks again.

Even if you dont hit them, is attempting to shoot down their house when you KNOW they are in it initiation? I was told there was a rule change that says it isnt. That doesnt make sense to me. If Im in the house and you shoot it down, Im gonna die. Do I have to wait until I die or can I defend my life?

Manolo, are you sure that is correct? If I initiate on you and kill you, only my name appears red to you, your name doesnt appear red to me until you shoot me or one of my gang mates. But Denniss, if you were properly initiated on originally, before the first time you were killed, you are subject to being killed again without re-initiation for 5 minutes. Youre choosing to respawn back into an area where you were killed and there are people obviosly hostile to you and your gang/group. If you were not properly initiated on the first time, then yes, its RDM. On some servers you would be the one breaking the rules for spawning back there.

I think safe zones need to be implemented. Areas where new players can gather supplies and figure out ways of making some spending cash without geting raped. How many brand new players log in, start mining diamonds just to get ganked at the processor and have their shit stolen? How many of them log off and never come back? I think if new players were given the ability to get their feet on the ground before dumbasses like DH rob the shit out of them, that might help retain those guys that login in once and never come back.
