How nice, You edited out the VON. Yelling "Lethal me Leady, Shoot me Leady, I'm wanted Lethal Me" Isn't asking for Parole for one. 2nd there was an active Fed with 2 shooters in telos. I was killed shortly after restraining. Re-spawned to Air HQ to find it had been taken over. After a short fight and a suicide vest I re-spawned to Athira and again attempted to retake air HQ. At that point you had become a distant memory. Pro tip - Dont follow a cop into an active fire fight yelling to be lethal'd. #getwrekdnerd

+1, I like the idea of gang HQ. I've seen a play of this on another server where the gangs have to capture it similar to a turf, but it costs money to hold it, and there is no timer. Its theirs until the money runs out or another gang takes it over.

There is a reason the guidebook doesn't tell you how to wipe your ass. Common sense, don't be a scumbag cop. Each administration may hold different views on the policy. JB and Myself held you get wiped you don't go back. The current Cpts may view it differently. As to the load out - if Cops were gearing with carrier lites and mk's id agree. But they have a tac vest and a 5.56. The only time there would be an issue is if you are camping an HQ, which is your decision to do so knowing the risk.

So a little impromptu car show was happening in Kavala Square with the APD providing security for the grounds. Unfortunately, we were called away to deal with a bank... This is what we found upon our return. This is why we can't have nice things.

A couple of policy changes to note. - raised the dollar amount for gaining probable cause thru bounties from $500.00 to $2500.00. - To line up with the previous change the minimum charge for Parole has been upped from $500.00 to $2500.00 - Possession of lethal ammunition (Only applies to ammunition for MX's, Vermin, TRG) by a bounty hunter should be considered illegal and abuse of a bounty hunter's licence. We've been able to play around and test it using an Escape Mission. Its visually amazing. But once you get into cities you do see a FPS drop. I think it has over 5 million assets. Beautiful map tho.

The Asylum Police Department holds itself to the highest standards. Officers on and off duty are held to these values. Basic Rules Officers are expected to maintain roleplay in all situations. Officers shall remain respectful towards civilians and other officers. Do not lie, cheat, or steal Officers must follow the Use of Force continuum when dealing with suspects. Always keep in mind that as a member of the APD, you represent the Asylum Sever. When playing as a civilian or a police officer, you should always strive to set a good example to all players. As a white listed player you are held to a higher standard than others and are expected to know and obey the server rules, if you are found violating the rules of the server you can expect to receive more harsh punishment. Asylum Police Department Guide Book Important policy changes to note: To enter a rebel when not in active pursuit, including UC officers, requires minimum of 2 officers Removed all 2nd and 3rd offenses from ticket guide. (Disobeying has listed in the notes that on the 3rd occurrence may send to jail) Added Final Approval to blacklist/remove for IAD charges - Server Related Bans, Inappropriate/fail RP Added HVT section Points to remove cadet changed from 3 to 2. Changed the searchable area of all processors to 300M (Same as red KoS zone on map) Drug Dealer/Wongs remains the same. Placable Checkpoint objects may now be used to fortify HQ's. There must still be a viable vehicle entrance and exit. Please make sure to review the entire guidebook as wording has been updated on most all section. Most links on the forums to documents and policies have been disabled as 3.0 will be the go-to for APD policy information. As a side note, a BIG shout out to @Will. He created the website, fixed my terrible formatting, made it visually appealing, and a host of other back end things to make this possible. As you browse the site you may notice the general Asylum page for Asylum as a whole. This part of the wiki is still very much WIP and should be considered separate from the APD sections. The wiki as a whole will continue to be developed and be updated consider this a sneak peek for what's to come.

The guidebook has been overhauled. While it still has the same look and feel it should be easier to navigate and understand. - Removed Redundancies. - Simplified wording of many guidelines - Section F and Cpl + have been moved to their own documents - See earlier posted Policy Update for changes around IAD's Actual Policy Changes - You may now charge those who are assisting in a kidnapping. - Battle Buddies - Completely removed. You may now enter illegal areas solo at your own risk - Changed recommended to required to have 3 officers to man check points - Raised Parole cap from 28,000 to 100,000 - Removed Solo Pilot restriction. You may now land at any time. Note you still need ground forces to enter illegal areas while in a helicopter. - Removed restriction from negotiating at rebel, cartels are still a no go. - Removed requirement to announce yourself before throwing a flash bang - Removed requirement to have lights on when speeding - Clarified Searching/Seizing while in combat, You may search/seize contraband from a player or vehicle at any time or place even if in combat. - Clarified Vehicle seizing, Vehicles still require all clear to be given before impounding or seizing unless inside of a HQ - Clarified Abandoned Vehicle Searching/Impounding, If a vehicle is abandoned and the driver is wanted for more than $500 or is parked in an illegal area you may search otherwise impound. - Under Ticketing Removed Murder of APD personnel - 100% ticket (Is covered under Aggressive), Removed if HQ is attacked must be given 100% ticket. - Higher up request removed "Attempt to" Now reads, You are required to contact any officer currently on the server who has a higher rank than you, even if you think the suspect's reasons for a higher up are not legitimate. - Dealing with medics clarified - Changed reckless driving, no longer requires a verbal warning to issue a ticket. - Changed ticket guide for dirty money, removed "down to" now states round to the nearest 5K These changes were made to allow for more freedom for officers to play and RP the way they like. We felt the guidebook had become too bloated for its own good.
