I would always wait until night to do a major drug run. The night adds a tactical aspect to the servers, and I like how it works on Australia - night lets you know the server is getting ready to restart

I completely agree with this. I know modded maps are a pain in the ass to deal with development wise, but it gives us more options that vanilla game just cant afford us. I'd love to see server 6 turn either into Modded Altis or something from the CUP like Chenarus or Takistan, because we know life RP works well on those maps and we've already had to download part of the CUP project for Australia.

One of the biggest problems I see on the servers is that if you're new, people will typically answer questions, but if you have issues they'll usually just tell you to shut up and suck it up. People have to learn or else they won't be interested! I know that I was lucky enough to meet a few really nice people my first day here. They took me and my friend on a Coke run. The cops showed up so we ran. Unfortunately we forgot to buy a repair kit, before Paratus added the ability to repair vehicles without one, and we wrecked the car as we fled. So my very first memory of Asylum is lugging it around Athira HQ and all the way to Coke Processing, then all the way back to Athira. It sucked, but it was so much fun, and it piqued my interest in the server. Then I started a gang the next day, and it just went uphill from there.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the game now! I remember my first days on Asylum, it can be really tough when you don't know the game. But the more you play, the more you learn and the more fun you have! Shout out to @(IFRIT)Mitch for being an awesome player and helping the new guys learn the ropes! We honestly need more people like you on this server! Just keep making money, take it slow and grind a bit. It'll take some time but once you have some money, then you can really engage in everything Asylum has to offer. As you get more and more acquainted with the server, the next step would be to look for a gang, which gives you a group to play with who will help show you the ropes and answer questions on a consistent basis. When you don't have a lot of money or experience, it can be hard to find one willing to accept you, but there are gangs out there who are open to new players. Just check out the gang recruitment thread or find some friends and start your own!

I haven't tried it yet, I'm just going off the patch notes that say "Only characters from your gang name can be used." For Altis Task Force, we can get away with that because our tag is just "ATF" with some custom lines around it, but I know that many gangs like Synergy, Bad Blood, Exiled, Insanity, etc all use mostly special characters not found in their gang names as part of their gang tag.

Can you give us an approximation of how many hours you've spent on Asylum? Also, how many hours do you have in Arma?

I'm loving all these patches you guys are coming out with! So many new features and fixes, it's great! @bamf @KBW keep up the great work! however, I have one request: can we please take away the gang tag character limit in a future update? Many gangs use weird characters in their tags and having two tags would look weird.

I mean, it's pretty hard to pronounce anything when you're drunk, if we're being honest. "HI, I'm Ine--, Inabrated, Inbri---, Fuck"

It works better with my final edited version haha I mean, obviously I'm pretty cool because I play video games all the time. But if the boys at the schoolyard heard that I was being beaten by a woman? Especially a woman who is cooler than me, and better at video games for than me? They wouldn't stand for it!
