  2. My thoughts are this: Remove the cartel locations that people don't care for (there are several). Add in at least 1 more new spot to change things up a touch. Make cartels worth fighting for a bit more (in some way). Also, fix a few of the "bugs" in the way cartels work. P.S. No, this hasn't already been decided and this is just some way to tell you guys through code. Motown wanted to gauge reaction to the idea.

  8. Yes, we read the suggestions. This has been on a wish list for a while, but I was really thinking of making it that a BH could drop a bounty every 15'ish minutes. The issue is larger to me than just picking up gang/group bounties.
  9. Is it making too much money though? I mean that question honestly as well - even though I get that people want to make money. Is it something that if left unchecked is going to mess up the economy?

  11. I could see something like this working if your "cut cocaine" for instance had a lower weight than standard, and was worth slightly less. So normal cocaine weighs 3 (right?). You cut it with something and get 2 "cut cocaine" that are worth 70'ish percent of a normal cocaine, but they each weigh 2 (3 for the original cocaine + 1 for the cutting agent, so same weight overall). That way the extra process nets you ~40% more money. I'm not sure you need to use the aging process here for drugs. Cutting drugs increases profits IRL, so we could mimic that in game. We would need to figure out a benefit for the cartel owner, but it may just be a cut of that 2nd process as well. I'll think on that.
  12. Gathering barley is fine IMO. You are gathering an item in a spot that the APD doesn't deem illegal. You only have to travel to an illegal area/spot 2 instead of 3 times for alcohol. Seems pretty decent to me.
  13. Well Paratus made a backend change to networking for the servers. If it's bad, it's much easier to revert just the one. I'm also hoping that perhaps we can stack people onto S1 during the day today and try to get as close to 100/100 as possible and see what a "night time" play session would be like. It's at 70/100 now...

  15. Some tweaks were applied to S1 this AM. Let us know if S1 seems to be running any better or not. We have 1 other idea as to what could be causing the issue, and will be tweaking that as well.
  16. We made a change on S1 this AM to try to tone down the desync a touch. Let me know if that server in particular seems any better please.
  17. I wish, but there is always the single point that can (and is) attacked - the server.
  18. The Norse thing is an unknown in the ddos world. Lots of people who work in network security think it's just a mockup. If you really want to know what is going on, you would need to talk to groups like Radware's Emergency Response Team or Palo Alto Networks Unit 42. That Norse app has floated around for years, but to my knowledge has never been validated to be anything other than a fancy webpage.
