Sitting in hometrixes car is like being in a car with someone 9x over the limit whilst using his teeth to steer and blind. And one leg.

    NEW APD PLAYTIME REQUIREMENTS

With the return of Splunk, comes with a change of playtime requirements.
    These changes are effective immediately
    LT Activity requirements
    8 interviews
    12 total activities
    20 hours of ingame playtime
Every interview an LT conducts after meeting his 8 minimum interviews will remove 2 hours required from his monthly cop playtime
Only a max of 10 hours can be removed from an LT, still requiring a minimum of 10

    SGT Activity requirements
    2 ridealongs
    8 total activities
    20 hours of ingame playtime
Every ride-along a SGT conducts after meeting his 2 minimum ride-alongs will remove 3 hours required from his monthly cop playtime
Only a max of 9 hours can be removed from a SGT, still requiring a minimum of 11

    CORPORAL Activity requirements
    10 hours every month
These in-game requirements will automatically apply for the months we have splunk
If we do not have splunk it will revert back to the original requirements.

    Thank you

    APD POLICY CHANGES
Over the last few months the Captains have been keeping a close eye on some outdated policies as well as trying out new things to keep it fun and fair for both civilians and rebels. With that being said, these new policies will be effective immediately.

    Federal Reserve
If there is an active fed going on officers may NO longer seize gold bars out of the vehicle unless there is a 1 minute all clear. If the vehicle manages to escape the fed and is stopped in route to rebel, then the officers will have 2 options.
    1. Wait for the one minute all clear call and seize gold.
    2. Sergeants and above may hop in vehicle during combat and begin to drive back to the HQ and seize upon arrival.

    Cartel Raids
Going forward with cartel raids there will be 2 new rules implemented that all offices must abide by. Any higher-ranking officers caught abusing these rules will be held accountable.
    1. After any SGT + calls a cartel raid, they must mark that cartel with the time (just like drug fields) once its completed. Once that raid is over no new raids may be called for 20 mins.
    2. If there are 8 or more officers attending that cartel raid it will be a ONE LIFE RULE. If there is 7 or less officers going to that cartel raid then officers may respond back as many times as they wish until all officers are killed/raid ends.

    Warning Shots at Helicopters
When helicopters are flying around outside of the HQ's, warning shots will no longer be an acceptable way to initiate by APD standards. If you wish to shoot at a helicopter outside of an HQ you MUST text the pilot first before shooting. If Helicopters are hovering/flying around at an HQ then officers may use warning shots to deter the heli (still try and text pilot first if possible). If the helicopter does not fly away after given a sufficient amount of time then all officers on scene may shoot at the heli.

Any further questions/concerns, feel free to contact a Captain
    Thank you

This patch is mostly civilian focused as it relates primarily to the Laws of War DLC for Arma 3 - which is mainly "civilian" in nature.  There are a few other things in here as well though.
First, we are revamping the donor ranking system with this patch.  Level 5 donors will become level 7 donors with this patch.  Between level 4 and what used to be level 5 we are now adding levels 5 and 6.  See the donation rewards page here for more information.  All of the new in game perks are cosmetics (and mostly new vehicle skins for the DLC vans).  Some of them are down at the lower levels as well - not just in the new tiers.  I'll make another post in the announcements section related to the donation changes later, but it was worth mentioning here.
Now for the actual patch notes:
@Gen. Henry Arnold has become a full Contributor now, and he has been popping out skins like crazy.  You may have seen them in various threads on the forums recently, but if not I think you'll like seeing them in game.  These van skins are now available in game:
Rusted Van Deranged Candy Man A Team News Van Short Bus Mystery Van Paddy Wagon (for APD members of Corporal or higher rank.  This is a non donor item) He also added a News Chopper skin that is great as well.  In addition, he created some signs for all the in town shops.  I think he's doing a great job, and we really appreciate his contributions!
Also, we added a "Nice Job Man" shirt from @TNT.  Thanks for that too!
This patch also includes loads of clothing and other items from the Laws of War DLC.  Please remember that in order to drive the vans, you will need to OWN the DLC.  That's not something we are restricting, but instead something on Bohemia's side.
    Additional items in the patch:
Cash from your exchange mailbox will now be automatically claimed and added to your account when you join a server. No more going to Pyrgos for comps! Your money will no longer be tainted after depositing all of your drug money Money from drug sales that you transfer to another player will cause their money to become tainted with drugs Gang members can no longer destroy the crates in the gang house. Only the gang leader can. Exploit prevention for flipping vehicles More weaponry is available to be crafted without the Arms Cartel! 7.62 users rejoice! A Ship laden with Mk200's has wrecked off of the coast of Altis. Rebel suppliers have been seen flocking to the wreck site. There may be one or two things I'm missing, but I think that's the bulk of it.  I'll be updating donor ranks in the database while we push out the patch.  Again thanks to @Gen. Henry Arnold for all the skins for this patch!
    Hotfix 1:
Added police lights to the Paddy Wagon (thanks @Destrah) Doner kabob again works as intended Hotfix 2:
Taru bench added back into the game - no rotorlib required Removed both Tarus and the MK200 from market effect pricing Hotfix 3:
Carrier lites now in the Skiptracer shop Minor combat logging protections A few minor admin related fixes

@bamf The prison is broke right now. As soon as the prisoner gets the message saying "Escape through the lobby" or what ever it it the doors either completely close and they cant get out or when they do make it out they just go straight back and get the "escape from jail" option when their time is up.

I just spoke with Christian Slaughter and he's given me the AFK Jail script.
You can download it here. Thanks to the wonderful @Ozadu I've updated the script.
Double click the .bat file to run it, it will ask for the amount of jail time you have, i.e. 45 = 45 min. Press enter. BOOM! Your PC will shut down once you're out of prison.

    Now u can haz

Hey Guys.. Glad to hear the interest in the sport. As @Sergio mentioned, I am the Drone Racing Expert/ Color Commentator/ Analyst of the show. I was a professionally sponsored pilot before coming to DRL over a year ago. I created the first FPV Drone racing podcast 2 years ago, which became very successful prior to me turning the show over to a friend before coming to DRL. I didnt want the show to end, so turning it over to a friend to keep it going was the best way to keep it alive. For those that are new to the sport you might want to check it out and listen to the show from the first episode and work your way through them. Lots of good info for you guys. The show is called "QuadTalk Podcast and can be found on the podcast app on any apple product, itunes, stitcher and Tune in.
If anyone has any other questions, feel free to ask myself or Sergio. We'd be glad to help in anyway. Also you can reach me on any of the social media accounts. @Kanoodle_FPV

Inb4 olio retires to become the best in drones

@Olio We get them as intimate with the course as possible because we want the best racing.
Pilots get to walk the course and get a feel for everything before they even start flying.
Then they get two practice rounds where everyone flies their own pace. Then they dive into time trials (two races) where it's sort of like practice mode because everyone is spread out and racing against the clock instead of each other. The outcome of this places you in your ranking round groups and your start position for those.
Then they dive into ranking rounds (5 races), which determines their starting position during semi-finals (5 more races, called heats)
Top 3 pilots from the SF move on to the finals which is 7 heats. If you've made it to finals you're guaranteed to move on to the next race event (Level)
So they get a bit of practice, finals always has the best and insane racing. I also forgot to mention that their fatsharks are recording their view of the race so they study the course via the DVR  of their race in the fatsharks.

@frantic yea we use fatshark goggles. I recommend the Dominator HD3 v3 if anyone is looking to get one. They're light on your head and actually aren't to sickening.
Heres Jet talking about it even

Yeah it's on ESPN right now. I agree when they do the pilots view in the goggles it moves so damn. I have a hard time with racing games, almost get tunnel vision, probably would be the same with this.

Saw this DRL (Drone Racing Leage) on ESPN and looks hella fun, curious who all owns drones, which ones, and what do you do? I thought about getting one, this DRL would be cool to get involved in.

Hey! Just saw my notifications. Glad you liked the show @Olio
@KaNoodle and I do indeed work for DRL! I work as an editor, which is actually why I had to take some time off from asylum to work on the show. Off season is fast approaching so hopefully I'll have some extra time to play on asylum more.
@KaNoodle does the commentating and analytics during the racing, so you'll see him on TV

EDIT: if anyone is looking to get into drones, DRL is releasing an All-in-One ready-to-fly setup that is really easy to pick up and start flying. That comes out later this fall. If you would like to get your hands on something cheap and easy sooner, then get this guy.
